Flying to new jersey today to be in training for my new position at my company. Its a huge shift in my career and livelihood.. say a prayer for me!

We're in the final stretch of adopting our 11 year old foster girl. 3 weeks until the official court date and the higher ups in the department have decided to throw some wrenches into the plan. We have a meeting today that has a high likelihood of being a waste of time, but will probably end up with angry supervisors because we aren't going to bend to their will (details are way too complex to type out) because it's not in the best interest of our girl.

Anyway, not really sure what I'm asking for - maybe just prayers for as smooth of a time as we can have going into these final steps for her permanency and finally have a family that won't pass her on (we're foster family 5 in 5 years).

UPDATE: Meeting went well. Turns out the department was making a mountain out of a molehill. Clarified a few things and everyone got back onto the same page. Thank you for all the prayers. We're back on track for the adoption in a few weeks!
