I went to see this film this afternoon and it was the first one I walked out of early in 24 years. It has a good cast, a good enough premise but I just waited and waited and it just stayed stupid and then started wallowing around trying to get out of its morass and couldn't. I left with about 15-20 minutes to go.

I am interested in seeing if others feel the same way. I was not in a bad mood or anything when I went in or when I came out. It just bored me.

Don't feel bad. I heard Gary Cogill (film critic in Dallas) on the radio in Austin today saying he guarantees it will be on his Worst of '06 list at the end of the year. Basically, Owen has so much clout after Wedding Crashers that he got whatever film he wanted made. This, apparantly, won't last long.

Wedding Crashers sucked. Oh, and Owen Wilson sucks.

i thought it was lighthearted and funny. i was cracking up throughout the whole film.

there isn't one thing in the previews that I find funny; your reviews only confirm that I will not be seeing it.

I feel the same way about super ex-girlfriend; I'm a big fan of Luke Wilson and Rainn whatever (Dwight Schrute), but that's either going to be a really stupid movie or they are marketing it horribly.

I'll wait for Clerks 2.

Wedding Crashers was so awesome. Haven't seen Dupree though.

Wedding Crashers didn't suck until it started to take itself seriously. I wish they'd just led comedies be comedies.

Wedding Crashers was good. I haven't see Dupree yet, but I haven't heard anything good about it either.

Wedding Crashers was great up until the time they left the vacation house; from then on it was fairly predictable and/or ludicrous.

I didn't think Wedding Crashers was that funny. Of course, I didn't see it until it came out on DVD, so my expectations were probably WAY too high.

You, Me & Dupree was not all that it was billed to be, especially given the cast. That said, it wasn't as bad as all that. I thought it had some pretty funny moments - just not enough of them and it struggled to tie up the story.
