How long do you want to ignore this user?
Just watched this again last night and my question is how long, or how many days, did Phil relive the same day? I tried counting but only got to about 33, but while tossing the cards into the hat, he says that he has been doing that for 4-5 hours for six months. Just wondering if anyone knows the answer.

I had heard somewhere it was supposed to be like 4 or 5 years. but that is completely unverified.

On the DVD, Harold Ramis states that the original idea was for him to live February 2nd for about 10,000 years. Later he says that Phil probably lived the same day for about 10 years.

yeah, with the piano playing and ice sculpturing, I'd definitely put it at several years.

About wat Aero said, on the DVD Ramis says that the original script had sort of a religious/philosophical bent to it.

As it is, there's still that quality to it--ever wonder why God's so smart? It's because He's been around forever.

Quick Change is arguably the most underrated Bill Murray movie around. I'm not sure why it isn't remembered more fondly, but it may be because the comedy is really dark in spots.

"Flores! Flores para los Muertos!"
"Grim, what does that mean?"
