HA! Jenna Dore lives in my town.

Season premier is in 16 days (September 23rd).

I am assuming some/most of us are down for another season of the Survivor Pick'em game. I'll need to change some categories since we don't have any returning players.

I'm super open to suggestions of new point categories.

This Google Doc has the rules that would carry over from 50 to 51. Again, happy to take suggestions to make it better.

What are some extra fun items that are a positive every time shown. I think providing food for the tribe in a way that isn't reward or rice based (fishing, finding some sort of fruit)

Also I think we should all vote for a first boot and get a few bonus points for that

I have no problem with first boot, but it requires everyone knowing who they want to pick before the season started. It was OK last year with the all-stars since they were all known commodities.

Will they release the tribes before or was that something they did just for 50 to hype it up? If we have the tribes and with that intro video, I feel like first boot can be more educated. Otherwise it's just random.

Is it sad that I can't tell you off the top of my head who won Survivor 50?

You find an advantage or idol during a reward or immunity challenge: +1 point bonus.
In a multi-stage challenge, if your team is in first going into the final stage, and you end up losing the challenge by coming in last, -1 point per person involved. It has the be a challenge where you can't swap someone out at the end and a continuous run. This one is probably better with three tribes, since with two teams and if they both are close going into the last stage, it seems overly punitive. Might be better to make this one only if there are three teams competing.
If you play an advantage (not an idol, obviously or shot in the dark) at tribal and still go home: -2 points.
If you are voted out at tribal by drawing rocks, an additional -1 point penalty (primarily because if you change your vote you could avoid going to drawing rocks in the first place).

I'm a sicko here for the chaos.

I like the +1 for finding the advantage/idol during the challenge. Will add that.
I imagine this season will go to 3 tribes at some point, so maybe can activate that one anytime there are teams of 3 or more.
Will add the playing the advantage and still go home, I'm surprised it wasn't on there. Oversight by me.
Maybe going home by rocks should be a bigger impact, because that really is the dumbest way to go out and it's hard to imagine it happening again. Maybe -7?

Make it -4. Split the difference.
