Jeff talked a little more about the open era with Rob and it has me excited. New era was very formulaic with three tribes, journey, mergeatory etc.

He went so far as to say we could get a final two rather than 3. Starting with two tribes this season could switch back to 3 another season. Maybe journeys are gone for a few seasons and suddenly it pops up 3 years down the line. That is actually pretty exciting.

I'm surprised they haven't gone back to a Final 2 yet. Invariably, every year feels like the #3 person gets dragged to the end, gets no votes, and is made to feel like foolish about their game. That sucks in every way.


I wouldn't even mind there being a Final 4 challenge like now with one person winning immunity, on person getting eliminated, and the other 2 going head to head in the fire challenge or something similar to be the other person in the Final 2.
