So far, before the first challenge this felt a little more old school survivor. Just a regular immunity idol, the tribal dynamics. This so far is a great indictment of the open era

Kilby really surprised me in the immunity challenge; I thought he would be sucking wind, but you could see him pushing several of the blocks, and he and Jenna did great making up time on the puzzle.
When the the Leprachaun was sent to Exile Island and Probst came to reinforce "permanent uncertainty", I was really hoping he would say he was going to be stranded there for the entire season.
Being a farmer, I thought that guy would have been smart enough to tear his shirt and wrap his hands in the cloth to prevent them from getting torn up so badly during the axe challenge, but I imagine it's a lot easier to think that solution up from my couch.

I probably would have attacked it from the other end as well.

I was surprised it ended up being Aaliyah, it felt like that came together so last minute.
It blew my mind Jenna never just came forward and was like, "I know I weirded some people out by not being open, I am going through a divorce and having a tough time, and was a bit self conscious when everyone was sharing the awesome things they do."
She can be open to the confessional in front of millions haha it felt like a little bit of openness on that would have immediately turned the tide for her and garnered a lot of sympathy, but it didn't matter since it seems Brady had quite a bit of sway on that vote.

Some were saying on Reddit that he probably wasn't allowed to attack from the other side in case it fell on him

IMO, production does not care if you get hurt on a challenge.

Were we seeing the part of the thumb with the nail? That's what it looked like to us in the split second shot.
