Female driver finally does what Danica couldn't do and wins in NASCAR.

Whatever it is I'm in.

If you're a fan of the original the FOX special on how they filmed it is pretty insightful. They had to qualify a car in actual races to get the camera car in the race to get footage they got.

I think a sequel will have a hard time as it is. Doing this would ensure that. Not sure Thunderheads would go for this.

Also, the script's basically done, they don't shoot for well over five months, and it doesn't come out until June 2028. Literally nothing about this is "rushed." They've been working on it for years.

I think it will be more like Top Gun Maverick where people are debating whether it will live up to the first one and whether a sequel was necessary after all these years.

I've never seen Days of Thunder despite being 11 when it came out. Is it actually any good or is it one of those movies that's incredibly dated and only good if you saw it at the time?

As others have said, it's Top Gun: Race Cars.

If you liked Top Gun, you will probably like this. Unless you've just moved on from that.

It's worth a watch just to see Duvall though.
