As though I couldn't love #Obsession anymore, it's a Valley movie. Mostly shot in Burbank, but the music store everyone works at is Cassell's Music in San Fernando, which was also famously in Wayne's World... but closed in 2025 after 78 years. :(

Saw this over the weekend, I had remembered the trailer from a while back but the wife had completely forgotten about it so she went in relatively blind thinking we were wasting our time.

Great movie - thought provoking, really well done with the lighting and the shifts - actress did an awesome job of pivoting personalities on a dime.

I'll echo what someone earlier in the thread said, we've seen 25 movies this year, this is definitely my favorite thus far.

Still trying wrangle my crew together to go see Obsession and then this pop ups? SUPER cool premise I am in totally in for. I'll be keeping an eye on this director….which is not something I have said often in my life, ever.

Saw it again with my daughter. I'm a good dad. She really liked it. It was easier to watch the second time.
