The thing I forget is that Rizo hasn't seen his own season.

He can point out how well back-to-back players have done. And it's also known that it's a disadvantage for having not been on the "circuit". So you're at a break even there.

However, while you (Rizo) know how you played (your advantage), you don't know your edit.

Rizo has now casually laid in a hammock next to both Dee and Savannah within a few weeks of each other. Guy i the GOAT.

And yet laying in a hammock with Cirie was what did it for him.

"We're married in this game now."

(Cirie is the exact definition of "fk around and find out", but also "we can keep her around bc we're smart enough to know, do it later, bc fk around and find out.")

This was a good episode, happy to see Cirie gain some traction

If anybody is smart, Cirie is out at #6.

Let her hang around, bc you like her, she knows it all, etc. But if she gets past 6, you might be screwed.

Nobody really trusts anybody at that stage in the game, particularly on an all-star season, but the one thing any player can trust at that point- "Cirie would be a worse threat to you than me."

Charlie's whole game was frustrating. He let Rizzo get in his head early and his fixation/tunnel vision prevented him from paying attention to the ladies alliance that was the real threat. I don't care for Rizzo at all, but he was smart to form an alliance with them.

I think there is some debate about whether or not his #1 was Sophie or Savannah. I think it's a distinction without a difference, as the three of them played very closely together.

Pretty disappointed by Charlie's gameplay. I thought he was really great and absolutely deserved to win his season, and this was a really poor showing.

Charlie was one of my favorites of the last 5-10 years, but his play made him look like he had been a giant among midgets in his season and didn't seem to adjust much this time around.

Same. His edit makes it look like he got hung up on Rizzo saying he didn't vote for his number one. He should have let that go and played his game.

The key difference was he couldn't say Savannah was his number 1 when she was still in the game.

Sophie is his best friend, but she wasn't his number one the whole time.

Charlie was best friends and number ones with what's her name.

A few other notes I took last night.


They finally had to show Tiff cuz she balled out on untying the bags with the ropes.

Chrissy did not say a single word in the entire episode.

Ozzy throws the word "algorithm" in Christian's face, but I don't think Ozzy knows what an algorithm really is.

There was an Emmy skit once where a bunch of other TV stars were in "The Office" including Ashton Kutcher, who Ed Helms referred to as a "beautiful drifter." I think that might be who Ozzy is. Incredible challenge player, terrible game player, not nearly as good looking he used to be, but still a call back to happier times.

Really surprised to see how gassed Joe was in the challenge, even though he was going up against Jonathan and Ozzy the Fish.

Sounds like the merge next week despite having 17 people. There has been buzz online, nothing definite, of some huge event, but make sure you're ready to make your re-votes after the merge episode.

Why have they not showed Tiff? I was discussing that last night with my GF. I told her I don't think Tiff has had any TV time since the show started.

I honestly think Riz is a sociopath, and a very good one.

I don't know, but it's really weird. She seemed like bit of an odd addition to begin with. She got blindsided with an idol at her pocket and finished 8th on her season, was part of one of the worst tribes in recent history, although Kenzie ended up winning, and didn't win any individual immunities or reward challenges.

Maybe the real problem is that she's on a tribe of big personalities and mega fan-favorites - Coach, Joe, Colby, along the bizarre drama between Aubry and Genevieve. They haven't shown Chrissy much either, other than peope telling her how annoying she is.

But I have started making notes about Tiff's contributions to the episodes and they are miniscule. Before getting lauded at the challenge, she said "Another starfish" to Aubrey, and that was it.

Looking over the rest of the cast in the other 2 tribes, I don't see anyone else with so little screen time other than maybe Cirie before last night's plot.

Never been a big fan of Charlie. Angelina getting the boot hurt though. I know I am in the minority here. Sad we didn't get to see a long standing DvG alliance. That is one of my all time favorite seasons of survivor.

What if they briefly merge and then break again into two teams before the true merge? How would scoring work?

I had a chance to look at the spreadsheet. I maybe stare at spreadsheets too much for my day job but I think with my Aubry, Christian, Chrissy, Coach, Jonathan picks I should be at 45 not 44.
