I came here to post this...I am 43 and my family still talks about how much this scene freaked me out as a little kid. I went into an absolute screaming fit.StinkyPinky said:
As a young kid, I remembered how bad I was freaked out during Raiders of The Lost Ark when they opened the Ark and the spirits turned demonic and killed everyone with their eyes open. After watching it I made sure I closed my eyes during that scene for fear of death.
