So many great episodes mentioned already and since I already did mine won't suggest others but thought of more! It's amazing how great this show was in its prime!
I do however have a favorite line that doesn't get quoted often but can't remember exactly which episode it's from….think it's from Homer vs New York….but it's when Homer says this:
"Public transportation is for jerks and lesbians."
I'd love to quote that as often as I do other lines….but…..yeah might get me in trouble at work….

Kamp Krusty. This one aired when I was at A&M. My roommates died when the mail is finally being delivered and the one kid yells "my insulin!". As a diabetic, that's how I became a Simpsons character...at least in their minds.

"And Maggie Makes Three" which is the one you're talking about. The other is "HOMR" where they discover Homer has had a crayon lodged in his brain since childhood and they remove it. Then he becomes smart and bonds with Lisa as a fellow intellectual. That one also has maybe my favorite Homer quote: "Hey Flanders, I was working on a formula for cold fusion and accidently proved God doesn't exist."
I have tons of episodes that I love for comedy but those two hit different as a dad.

The Tomacco episode comes to mind. I also have a soft spot for the episode where Barney gets drunk and drives Homer's car to New York and gets it booted. The reason being, I tried downloading this episode several times over Limewire back in the day and it kept partially downloading. I watched the first 10-15 minutes over and over because that is as far as the download would go until I eventually managed to get the whole episode. I can still remember the distorted sound the file made when there was a sound effect of the car peeling out.

This thread has convinced me to do a re-watch of old Simpsons. I thought it was all on D+ but all I'm seeing is seasons 35 & 36 showing...am I missing something?
Edit: Apparently there are two separate selections called "The Simpsons" on D+. Only one was showing up for me at first and that one is just 4 episodes of season 35 and 1 of season 36. I'm guessing this is a limited version available through my Hulu sub? Other one finally showed up after restarting the app and searching again.

There should be two sections. One should be S1-11, called "The Simpsons".
Everything S12 and later in another called "Zombie Simpsons".
