When Shane killed Lem, that almost did it for me. And yeah, that one too.

I agree with the first episode of Season 9 of Walking Dead when Rick kept Neegan alive and a captive in his town jail is when I stopped watching. Haven't watched an episode since. Neegan was a great character, but some bad guys are so bad that they have to go. Neegan fit that bill in spades.

Another series episode that finally broke me was Designated Survivor. In the last season, there is a scene between two gay lovers that was just way too explicit for me. That last season, the show had already veered from a decent storyline into overtly pushing a political agenda, and that scene was the final straw for me.

For me it was the episode in Happy Day when The Fonz jumped the shark. That's when the show really…well, you know…

I guess it was in 1993, some time after Bill Clinton took office. I had been watching LA Law fairly consistently. That last time I ever watched, one of the female attorney characters came into an office saying something about with the new administration, things would be so much better. I didn't like the glee with which she said it. Turned it off and never watched it again.
when one of the senior partners passed gas during s#x was completely gross

that was it for me

I have two that stick out above the rest, these were both bad enough that I never even revisited the shows afterward.

The Walking Dead - Negan/Glen episode. My wife and I watch very different shows normally, that was the only one she and I watched together. That was the last episode that either of us watched.

Game of Thrones - the finale. The last season wasn't all garbage, a couple of the episodes are actually great. I just hated the last episode so much that I haven't even gone back to rewatch any of the best episodes that I've watched several times. The penultimate episode of most seasons was incredible. The last episode just ruined the show for me.

I guess I had to have known so many people watched Walking Dead because of how long it went on, but amazes me how long people held onto a show that was hot garbage by S2.

What was wrong with it?

Not sure if serious. Not gonna rehash here, there was great uproar at the time, and it's been covered as a "topic" in many places. Suffice to say that's my answer, it ruined it for me.

After the uproar, I thought it was universally accepted as the perfect ending.

Parks & Rec - the ****ing hero worship of Biden and Obama.
You missed out on an all time great sitcom for, in my opinion, a silly, minor reason. Leslie Knope as a character is a progressive who believes in government. It makes sense that certain democrats are her heroes. And even then, they have fun with it with her lustful obsession with Biden.

And as a foil for Leslie, you have Ron Swanson, an all time great libertarian. Two intelligent coworkers who respect each other despite (or maybe because of) their different beliefs. What a concept!

Oh, I watched the whole series. Just never rewatched it. And yeah, Ron Swanson is the GOAT.
Keep in mind the series ran from '09-'15. That's who they had to work with in Washington so it made sense. I'm sure they would have had a different spin '17-'20, but it made sense in the show and the world at that time. Minor bit that didn't really drive the POV of the show.

Also, I can't believe we're 3 pages in with no mention of Jack's tattoos from Lost

I only made it a few episodes into the abomination that was season 3. Not to derail but the writers were in a competition to see how many "woke news of the day" topics could be crammed into every single scene. It was Beverly Hills Cop 3 bad.

Final season of Blacklist had a horrible episode with Laverne Cox ridiculously over acting. There was a long diatribe that kept the camera zoomed in on Laverne's sweaty face from different angles. It was so bad I couldn't finish the final season. 10 years grinding it out and I punched out 1/4 through the season.

Agreed. They fight all of these amazingly powerful beings, demons, archangels, the devil, even a god, and Dean gets killed in a fight with a run of the mill monster-of-the-week. Are you kidding me???

Episode of SEAL Team last year when they killed off a main character... it was such a stupid way to kill off the character, and just pissed me off that I didn't complete the season for months.

Iwatched the Happy Days episode where Fonzie jumped the shark in '77... I was 12 years old and I knew then it was a "what the hell?!"moment.

Very similar to Breaking Bad's Fly episode. Half the people hated it, the other half pretended to think it was some great work of art that everyone else just didn't get.

For Lasso, that was an episode they filmed after and didn't have the full cast available. So they did what they did with what they had. Doesn't make it good, but it is what it is. Didn't take anything away from the rest of the series.
