I have no idea why Warner Bros. was holding #TrapMovie back from critics, which I am in addition to doing interviews, which is how I got to see it.

It's pretty good! Not great. Some issues. But not bad at all. It's all very odd. Here's my review: https://t.co/DUhCtgu8S4

Shyamalan's Trap - Ohhhhh DAMN! Really dug it! One of the most evil & sneaky M Night Shyamalan movies yet, with plenty of twists. In his oeuvre this has gotta be his The Shining (don't over-analyze that). Josh Hartnett - F YES, this is his REAL return to glory! Such a bastard ha. pic.twitter.com/7yzrEWsja8

Trap: Shyamalan’s Red Eye. A B-movie powder keg of suspense in construction, but Shyamalan and Mukdeeprom going sicko mode every chance they get brings it to a new level. The best performance of Josh Hartnett’s career by a country mile. Just plain fun. pic.twitter.com/EuRlc15Ccl

TRAP good! Which makes it even more baffling it was kept from critics. We would be the Hartnettaissance’s strongest soldiers!

#Trap is M. Night Shyamalan's best-engineered work since 'The Village' and arguably the purest piece of entertainment he’s ever made.@Nick_Newman reviews: https://t.co/TEshZlPNoq pic.twitter.com/vmGjrHDPjp

Some of those ideas sounded a lot better than what they actually did.jokershady said:
So I'm probably not going to be able to see this one….so for fun and NOT BASED ON A SINGLE THING IVE READ ABOUT THIS MOVIE I thought I'd make a few predictions and see if any of them are right or come close….
Main character actually has super high identic memory and is actually enjoying the challenge of escaping the concert as it's revealed he's able to remember every name and face of every person he interacts with at the concert.
Main character actually hasn't killed anyone but has just been abducting them and runs a dark web murder company like in Hostel where is customers do the killing….
Main character's daughter isn't actually his biological daughter…his first victims were her parents when she was a baby and he raised her as his own…….side note would be he's been planning her murder her entire life and plans to do it when she's 18….
It's revealed main character has actually killed WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more people than initially thought through evidence found at the very end.
Main characters daughter is actually in on it and he's trying to protect her from jail and keep her from knowing they're close to getting caught….
Had a few more ideas but thought those were the most likely….
It’s actually kinda heartbreaking that WB basically tried to make sure most critics couldn’t review TRAP to hype it up because every reaction I’ve heard has been majorly positive. https://t.co/dKNJkGEcWQ

I had a lot of fun with TRAP. The trailer shows you half the movie, and you’ll never guess where the sec is half goes. M. Night writes himself into a million corners, but Josh Hartnett sells the whole package. It’s silly and exciting and fun! pic.twitter.com/J5m0PErPR9

TRAP is a good old fashioned silly and fun honest to god thriller.

Hartnett is at his peak and the best actor to embrace M. Night dialogue since Bruce Willis. It looks and sounds phenomenal.
Give me a Hartnett and Shyamalan run so I can buy the 3 film DVD collection. pic.twitter.com/Hb77uEakR5
Minus a few things here and there, M. Night Shyamalan’s #Trap/ #TrapMovie is GREAT. Handles tonal fluctuations, toggling between humor and tension, with precision. Josh Hartnett is AMAZING. We are so back! pic.twitter.com/Zz56t7aXgU

And Ashton Kutcher has made about a bazillion more dollars. I was just saying he could have have that career. And said "no thanks".Quote:
Hartnett at his peak was way bigger than Ashton Kutcher ever was
TRAP has a compelling and suspenseful first half, but the back half proves M. Night Shyamalan wrote himself into a clever corner he couldn’t get out of without an egregious lack of common sense and logic in the narrative. Josh Hartnett is outstanding, but the story just implodes.

‘TRAP’ is M. Night Shyamalan at his best stylistically, but some people might be turned off by this story's many turns.
