I find it interesting that out of all the shots thrown at Brady in this roast, multiple jokes about his ex wife sleeping with her Jiu-Jitsu instructor, being a bad father/husband, his career etc, the one thing that seemed to trigger him was that one joke about him giving Robert Kraft a massage! It wasnt even that brutal of a joke compared to everything else that was said.

After Brady said that to Jeff Ross I was worried that he wouldn't be cut out for this roast, but he seemed to take everything else in stride after that one moment. What an odd reaction by Brady that was.

I'm not sure if it was a staged reaction that just didn't land, or if Kraft was just on the list of things Brady didn't want to be talked about. There were no kid kissing jokes either, I'm assuming he didn't want his kids joked about at all either.

There were multiple jokes about Kraft last night, including Edelman saying the next time he will see all of his Patriots teammates again is for Kraft's funeral. But yes, Brady and Kraft seem very close, father/son type of relationship, so I could see him not wanting others to make fun of him.

Bert and Tom probably had the worst set, but they're not really roasters like the others. Bill Burr would have been nails if they could have brought him in.

Tony killed as usual. He's the heir apparent to Jeff Ross. Saw David Lucas wandering on stage after it was over. He would have been fun to see roast.

I was impressed with Nicky's set. She went hard with her last joke.

Gronk took A LOT of **** and did great during his set; even off the rails a bit. Edelman had a great set and I don't think the guys were expecting all the jokes he did.

We need more of these!

Gronk was definitely in an altered state, unless that's just his baseline. I'm sure breaking the shot glass on the floor was not planned.

Affleck going up there belligerently drunk to try and defend his sports idol at their damn roast is the best embodiment of Boston sports fans I could imagine and a perfect train wreck for the occasion.

As long as they were ok with the no holds barred approach, I wish Shane Gillis had been on there. His commentary on sports is always hilarious. He might have actually been the one to break Tom.

I agree. Shane Gillis 10 bud lights deep could have been legendary.

Nikki's set was an all time performance, and Tony's set was the comedian's comedian set. I've watched KT for years, but not much of Tony's stand-up. It was great to watch him do what he does best and hit the mark.

This was a 9.5/10 bit of entertainment imo. Had they involved Bill Burr, replaced Affleck with Portnoy, actually prepared Ron Bergundy properly, and picked and better on-screen font it would have been a 10/10.

This semi restored my faith in humanity. Just throwing it all out there and everyone ****ing laughing and taking nothing seriously. My god we need more of this.

So Kim Kardshian, the biggest reality star in America, did a few minutes roasting him. And it was totally edited out.

What do you mean by "edited out"? Like, part of what she said was removed, or her appearance has been removed completely? Because she definitely spoke on stage in the version I saw Sunday night, and her speech didn't seem to be edited at all.
