He had to, and supposedly she was pretty pissed about being dragged into it as well as the fallout with their kids. He mentioned in an interview recently that they were "affected" by some of the jokes and he wouldn't do it again, "because of the way it affected the people I care about the most in the world."

Honestly it makes me think he's even more of an AH since his marriage imploded because he couldn't give up football for those people he supposedly cares about the most in the world and he also (supposedly) made it very clear that Robert Kraft jokes were off the table. He just comes off as selfish and fake. Great football player, ****ty person.

This roast was hilarious. I'm surprised in this day and age Netflix was able to pull it off. Really a throwback to raunchy funny comedy. It was hysterical. Everyone was on fire except for Randy Moss, Ron Burgundy, and unhinged Ben Affleck
