This is really interesting, because after I saw the trailer I thought this movie looked like it would be awful.
Same, it felt very CW to me.

But interested to hear the positive reviews, I'll give it a watch when it gets to streaming somewhere.

This movie looks terrible, but I had to post this.

Now this I would see.

Finally saw this. My god that was awful. It wouldn't have been so long had half of it not been in slow motion.

Just an opinion here:
Wife and I watched it last night. She fell asleep towards the end, I gutted it out. Both thought it was horrible. Both thought the music was horrible for the most part. Acting was great but the characters were horrible people (Art was the least horrible but weak). I like Zendaya and she made me hate her (so again, good acting). Music score blew, occasionally it was okay but for the most part, I found it distracting. The male make out scene and the knee incident grossed me out! For there to be no "sex" those scenes drug on forever, we knew what was going to happen, just move along. Kept waiting for something redeeming to happen but it didn't. The ending left me empty. There were some times I did laugh but the overall feeling of the movie was slow moving drudgery with characters I couldn't invest in because they were so unlikeable.

On the Zendaya side discussions: she can look super hot at times with a girl next door type quality. The scenes with her in her underwear (although they looked like they were on backwards) presented her hotness.
