There better be some totally unnecessary but still awesome nudity in it.

This will not live up to the original. Swayze was perfect for that role along with Sam Elliott as a total badass. And Kelly Lynch was a smoke show. Was there a better movie for any red-blooded American male growing up in the 80s?

This is one that I would make sure to see in a theater for sure. I imagine it is a ton of fun without taking itself too seriously and those are the kinds of movies I prefer to see on the big screen.

Road House was of its time. That time has passed. This movie will be forgotten like all the other soulless remakes, even if it is a legit good movie.

It can be good as long as they keep the campiness from the original. The cheese factor of the original are some of the most endearing qualities.

My issue with Road House is that I saw the edited-for-TV version about 1000 times until streaming video came along 30 years later. I turned it on and 5 minutes in, bam-the bar guy was giving it to the girl in the back room which was not what I remembered!! Oops.
You gotta watch out for all those rough bars down in the Florida Keys.
The hispanic dude is funny as hell.

Thanks to Family Guy all I can think of now when I hear Road House is Peter Griffin, I'd prefer to not sully that with Connor McGregor.
Not a remake I knew I needed, but I'm sure I'll enjoy this. Would prefer a theater release.
Also, reminder that every time Bill Murray sees the original roadhouse on TV he calls Kelly Lynch's husband to tell him he's watching his wife have sex with Patrick Swayze.

As an old dad with an extremely busy schedule I love being able to stream movies from home, but yeah as a cinema lover I do believe that quality movies need to be exclusive to theaters before hitting streaming. I'd be fine with a minimum time of 3 months before moving it to streaming.
