So director Doug Liman (Swingers, The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Edge of Tomorrow, American Made, is boycotting the film's SXSW premiere, due to Amazon not releasing the movie in theaters. For what it's worth, here's a snippet of what he had to say...

Personally, I think this remake looks awesome, and I'm right there with him.

Swayze's Dalton was a tour de force, rivaling maybe Sir John Gielgud's King Lear or Brando's Terry Malloy.
It's almost impossible to top that.
