He's always presented himself as "important" or whatever; but then Jacob Elordi, both hotter and a better actor, showed up, commanding more eyes. I will say that Timothee has picked better roles thus far, but maybe that's due to change soon. Hopefully the Schrader film Elordi's going to be in isn't cold to the touch like most of those he's directed - and I say this as a huge admirer, though mostly due to his writing and personality.

Man idk. Not diminishing Timmy at all, but I think Jacob Elordi has been the best part of all but maybe one or two of his projects to date. Though maybe I'm elevating him because he can play sinister/cunning in a way that Chalamet probably just can't - too much of a twink, too comfortable being self-consciously artsy. Whatever though, both are very talented and don't feel like contrivances, unlike Austin Butler.

Why didn't the Eras Tour win best picture?

Clearly it should go by money.....right....

Did the movie outperform everything else? I thought Oppenheimer and Barbie both did better?

Edit: Eras was 11th on the list for top Box Office numbers.

To be transparent, I didn't read every single post. That's obvious. I read the first page where that wasn't indicated or I missed it. Second, I like at the very end of the first video you can see grumpy Tommy Lee Jones just stewing and being the a-hole that he is.
