Saw him around July 4th at devils backbone. He was in rough shape. Was supposed to see him in Austin in Aug and he cancelled due to health reasons.

He is in my top two with REK. RIP Charlie

I don't know if y'all have had a chance to read John Spong's article on Charlie from Texas Monthly. It is a great piece and confirms much of what I always assumed about him. It may be behind a paywall but I got to read it as a free article.
