I really like that this is making money. I'm not sure why this is considered a conservative movie (I am - Caviezel is guilty of WRONGTHINK in his personal life), but it needs to encourage more $ being allocated to films like this. DailyWire has aspired to better perform in the entertainment industry, as it is critical to reaching the younger generation, which has overwhelmingly veered left. Hopefully this film has a lengthy run and Caviezal gets a piece of the back end and we start chipping away away at the left wing monopoly.

The only reason I know that some QAnon rhetoric is associated with this movie is because of you and others on this thread claim it. In reality, you're the one promoting the "rhetoric".

If you watch the Jordan Peterson interview, which was posted a few pages back and was really insightful, Ballard specifically addresses this issue.

General synopsis, he has actually seen this stuff in Africa, "witch doctor" type stuff. And he talks about it to bring the issue forward because it is real. Other people have made the association to the Qanon nonsense, because the topic overlaps, and even goes on to say "they say oh this celebrity must be doing it to, even though there is no evidence to back it up."

The association to the Qanon junk, based on the subject matter, appears to be misunderstanding at best or purposeful obfuscation at worst.

And, I understand the guy used the term "the woke left", and can agree how that can be off putting to those that fall in the middle, much like when people use the term the "far right". However, I am not going to try and discredit a guy who has spent most of his professional career exposed to these horrific acts in an effort to combat them. If he has an opinion on what may be a bad policy idea, based on his line of work, then I can find it credible, even if the messaging is slightly off.

Actual child sex trafficking is not a political issue. QAnon conspiracies about trafficking are, and conflating medical care for trans teens with "grooming," certainly is. This film is being marketed specifically to Christian and conservative audiences through Christian and conservative channels. I don't think it's a surprise that it's being ignored by the rest of the population. The choice of subject is also controversial. His organization is not always well regarded by others working on trafficking.

Do you think viewer reviews on Rotten Tomatoes are an accurate, scientifically verified method for measuring actual audience opinion and engagement? Because if you are, we need to have a discussion about how statistics and polling works.
No, but Box Office numbers are.

This thread actually made me buy tickets to see what the hub bub is all about. Thanks BlueAnon believers. I've been to the movies probably 5 times in the last 5 years. I had to buy ahead last night because the theater was almost sold out.

I never would have heard of this movie if not for TCTTS and the rest of Entertainment Board's rage-filled pout-fest. Streisand Effect is real.

This movie didnt need to spend any $ on marketing because for some weird reason screetching liberals did it for them....for a movie....about child trafficking....

Hmmm.

No, but I do know that only eight critics had the courage to even review "What is a Woman?", one of the most talked about and important documentaries of the 21st century.

TCTTS' continued use of the term "conspiracy theory" when that is equivalent to the truth in the year 2023 is mind boggling. I guess some people can never be saved and the fact that this has become a political football is insane.

Saw this movie yesterday to try to get some relief from the hot temps outside. The AC was not working in the theater and it was difficult to concentrate. I thought that the movie was interesting and really liked how they showed clips from the actual island raid as documentation of the events. It is hard to see why some would label this as a conspiracy.

Amen. Calling these things Q-Anon is so 2019. Its time for TCTTS to move on. Sure it was fun making light of the Q-tips with all their wacko conspiracy theories back then, but its 2023, and its just not right to keep making fun of these old theories as "Q-Anon" now that they are the bedrock of the current GOP.

I believe that climate change is real but its pointless to try and do anything about it at this point

And to be fair..."cheese", "pizza" etc. really are "pedophile menu" terms. As we saw with the recent major and horrific child porn bust in Florida.

I think the weird pizza/pasta/sauce/cheese Podesta e-mails from the original Wikileaks dumps in 2016 are what fueled the birth of the Q-Anon stuff. I certainly remember thinking "this is really weird, who TF talks like this? This has to be code for drugs or something more nefarious.", and "who TF owns this weird creepy art involving children and has a headless Dahmer victim corpse as their home entryway piece?".

This was also allegedly owned by him…

Long story short…these liberal elites are so freaking weird and twisted, I can see how people could have been duped into thinking they were a little more weird and twisted than they actually were.

I actually didn't say it was easily debunked, I chose my words carefully and intentionally. My post is still on the thread and you're free to go look it up.

It's incredibly difficult to prove that something didn't happen. And again, I have no qualms about calling out the Clintons and their foundation for their many dishonest and corrupt dealings (as those YouTube videos do). That said, there is absolutely no evidence that the CF made millions trafficking children in Haiti. If there's something factual to that end I've missed, please help clue me in.

And yes, the incidents documented in that King (2009) piece posted earlier are awful, but that's not the same thing.

But the problem is Jim Caviezel. That is the problem. That is what is wrong with the world? Open your GD eyes. Every person in Hollywood is certifiably crazy. They are great actors because they are malleable. His adrenochrome opinion might be crazy, I honestly don't know. Sure, it is fringe and seems pretty crazy. But those kids are being trafficked and killed. Do I care if they are set on fire or just shot? Nope. I also don't care if some theoretical chemicals are taken from them during their death or not. I don't care if they only taken for some sick MFer's sexual fantasy alone or taken for some other sick MFer's adrenal rush in conjunction with the first sick MFer's sexual fantasy. I don't care if the person using them is liberal or conservative. I don't care if they are black white or green. I don't care if they are an actor, a politician, a teacher, a priest, or a truck driver. I don't care if they are in a pizza parlor or hamburger joint. I dont f/cking care.

More importantly, why do you? Why do you care so much about some actors opinion on some topic?

Believing that there is a widespread pedo ring involving a lot of political and entertainment elites doesn't take a real leap of the imagination. Hollywood is about as gross as it gets. Believe the ones who have made it to the top and were repulsed by what they saw around them.

Unions? So you believe laborers should send millions of their hard-earned dollars to lobbyists? Perhaps they could work in the free states of Texas or Florida, be paid very well, keep every penny they earn. Now, back to the Democrat groomers, perverts, and pedophiles who feel called out by SOF…
