The only reason I know that some QAnon rhetoric is associated with this movie is because of you and others on this thread claim it. In reality, you're the one promoting the "rhetoric".

No, but Box Office numbers are.Sapper Redux said:BadMoonRisin said:Sapper Redux said:
Actual child sex trafficking is not a political issue. QAnon conspiracies about trafficking are, and conflating medical care for trans teens with "grooming," certainly is. This film is being marketed specifically to Christian and conservative audiences through Christian and conservative channels. I don't think it's a surprise that it's being ignored by the rest of the population. The choice of subject is also controversial. His organization is not always well regarded by others working on trafficking.
Do you think viewer reviews on Rotten Tomatoes are an accurate, scientifically verified method for measuring actual audience opinion and engagement? Because if you are, we need to have a discussion about how statistics and polling works.

TCTTS' continued use of the term "conspiracy theory" when that is equivalent to the truth in the year 2023 is mind boggling. I guess some people can never be saved and the fact that this has become a political football is insane.
It's precious that you're here to take up for him. He definitely needs the help.tomtomdrumdrum said:TequilaMockingbird said:johnnyblaze36 said:

Lol you are probably one of the blue stars on redsquirrelAG's post at the top of this very page calling him a pedo. Pretend it's not happening though and continue to antagonize TC so you can have your villain, you brave warrior.
You just said the clinton foundation Haiti trafficking in Haiti can be easily debunked...jeffk said:
I'm not able to disprove all of those allegations, nor would I ever claim to be able to. I don't trust the Clinton Foundation further than I could throw the two of them. But importantly, that's the exact opposite of how our legal system works. If there's something fishy going on (like making millions trafficking kids!), then the onus of proof is on you to support that claim.
Have a happy 4th. I need to go work on my deck.

In 2014 CBS did a segment applauding Sound of Freedom ’s Tim Ballard’s work against child trafficking.

Amen. Calling these things Q-Anon is so 2019. Its time for TCTTS to move on. Sure it was fun making light of the Q-tips with all their wacko conspiracy theories back then, but its 2023, and its just not right to keep making fun of these old theories as "Q-Anon" now that they are the bedrock of the current GOP.BadMoonRisin said:

and then you failed to debunk it. claiming the person making the claim should have the burden...
Well where is your proof for the claims your making? Why do you share no burden in backing up your claims....only the side you disagree with has any burden of proof?

If you watch the Jordan Peterson interview, which was posted a few pages back and was really insightful, Ballard specifically addresses this issue.
General synopsis, he has actually seen this stuff in Africa, "witch doctor" type stuff. And he talks about it to bring the issue forward because it is real. Other people have made the association to the Qanon nonsense, because the topic overlaps, and even goes on to say "they say oh this celebrity must be doing it to, even though there is no evidence to back it up."
The association to the Qanon junk, based on the subject matter, appears to be misunderstanding at best or purposeful obfuscation at worst.
And, I understand the guy used the term "the woke left", and can agree how that can be off putting to those that fall in the middle, much like when people use the term the "far right". However, I am not going to try and discredit a guy who has spent most of his professional career exposed to these horrific acts in an effort to combat them. If he has an opinion on what may be a bad policy idea, based on his line of work, then I can find it credible, even if the messaging is slightly off.

But the problem is Jim Caviezel. That is the problem. That is what is wrong with the world? Open your GD eyes. Every person in Hollywood is certifiably crazy. They are great actors because they are malleable. His adrenochrome opinion might be crazy, I honestly don't know. Sure, it is fringe and seems pretty crazy. But those kids are being trafficked and killed. Do I care if they are set on fire or just shot? Nope. I also don't care if some theoretical chemicals are taken from them during their death or not. I don't care if they only taken for some sick MFer's sexual fantasy alone or taken for some other sick MFer's adrenal rush in conjunction with the first sick MFer's sexual fantasy. I don't care if the person using them is liberal or conservative. I don't care if they are black white or green. I don't care if they are an actor, a politician, a teacher, a priest, or a truck driver. I don't care if they are in a pizza parlor or hamburger joint. I dont f/cking care.
More importantly, why do you? Why do you care so much about some actors opinion on some topic?
Winky face means I am kinda joking... but funny that a few minutes laters we have a regular here start posting about the merits of pizza gate. Some Junkie Cosmonaut said:Another Doug said:

Unions? So you believe laborers should send millions of their hard-earned dollars to lobbyists? Perhaps they could work in the free states of Texas or Florida, be paid very well, keep every penny they earn. Now, back to the Democrat groomers, perverts, and pedophiles who feel called out by SOF…Another Doug said:

I think Jan 6th was an embarassment and some people there thought they were part of an insurrection and the following lack of a civil transition of power sets up a dangerous precedent
I believe that climate change is real but its pointless to try and do anything about it at this point
But mainly I am a moderate democrat that believes in unions, some social programs and thinks the GOP is a rudderless joke of its former self.
