The Bible Bonkers references do not get old for me, every single time he brings it up I laugh. Those dolls were some of the most ridiculous things ever. I'm surprised every time they can keep it together with how ridiculous this show is.
I've been occasionally muttering "Baby Billy's Bible Bonkers" to myself randomly for weeks.

Great news. With Vice Principals it always felt a little limited in how many seasons it could go. I don't want this show to go too many but 4 or possibly 5 seasons of storylines could absolutely be told and hold my attention.
Reading around I had been concerned, there was some talk it could be in trouble given the new regime at HBO.
So that's good news.

Did anyone get the last 2 episodes on their streaming platform? Because I did. Can't wait for the next season!
I know it got a renewal but I wonder if they thought this might have been the last season because they felt like a series finale
Enjoyed those last two episodes, that ending had to have been written with the possibility of not doing another season. Glad we'll be getting more but given there's a writer's and actor's strike going on it feels like season 4 won't be here until 2025, which stinks.

That last episode was...Bonkers. And I agree - it's like they weren't sure it would be renewed and made it into like a series finale.
Yeah, major series finale vibes. No idea where it goes from here, but they obviously have plenty of fodder to work with and I'm not complaining. This has easily become one of the best shows on television and I can't wait for season four.
Last two episodes did not disappoint. That's how you stick a series finale - felt like they wrapped up everyone's lines pretty nicely. Steve Zahn rolling out there at the end with only an amputated limb after that explosion was an interesting choice - but hey, he had the power of christ on his side.
Didn't know Sturgill Simpson had those type of acting chops - I was impressed with his screentime.
Edi Patterson is hilarious - every line she delivers makes me giggle like a schoolgirl.

Also was glad to see Steve Zahn this season, every time I see him I'm reminded of his best role.

So I'm still one behind, but just finished the episode after the kids were freed, and still pissed at little b*tc* ass Daddy. Baby Billy acting as the lawyer because he used to be a paralegal in another life was hysterical (as are all things Baby Billy) . I lost it when he did the robot walking out after Jesse called him a paraplegic instead of paralegal. "Can a paraplegic do this?"
I'm still in season2, but I have the following thoughts:
1. I love the sister
2. Uncle Baby Billy is amazing
3. Eric Roberts is a handsome older man (no homo). I couldn't stand that guy for years (Best of the Best was fun, but his crying was insufferable)

Not rolling through this thread because SPOILERZ and all, but I stumbled across this show after years of it getting recommended to me.
Started watching it over the weekend and absolutely love it.
As a very religious dude, I was scared McBride would put Christianity in his crosshairs. I didn't find that to be the case at all. In fact, I've found it's probably even funnier who grew up in a mega church environment.

Yeah - He doesn't mock Christianity much if at all, the target is more some of its "leaders". That doesn't change through the entire run.
