I'm not real sure what I think about all of that. I'd like to hear his brothers' take on what happened. Some of it is really out there and some parts are consistent with other accounts.

Well, the skeptic in me doesn't see anything unusual about indistinct unidentifiable lights in the sky resolving into distinct identifiable aircraft as the lights get closer to the observer. That's how distance works.

For those that have listened to the telepathy tapes….we are going to family wedding this weekend in the hill country. In My wife's extended family is a non verbal autistic 15 year old. We have both been debating approaching the mother and asking if she has ever felt like her mind has been read. We are nervous as we don't want to over step but the revelation of what we listened to in that podcast is hard not to try and engage in a respectful way.

I'm so curious about the hill
Will report back over the weekend if we do engage them in the subject.

Agreed. However, I am mystified at the idea of a sitting governor essentially begging for someone to pay attention to him and explain WTF is going on. Wild times.

Edit: not the governor, but the mayor of a township in NJ. I am now less skeptical of him being kept in the dark if it's a national security or program deal.

Quote:

Jake Barber describes a Historic gathering that just happened attended by billionaires, world leaders in medicine and Science along with mystics and psychic children that demonstrated telekinesis and a UAP was successfully summoned and hung before taking off

Jake -"It felt absolutely historic. What you had was a combination of the world's leading, like most frontier scientists, you had people that were top experts in all their fields, and then you had a variety of fields that was outrageous. We had neurosurgeons, doctors and neurosurgery. We had physicists, we had high net worth individuals in the billions that were extremely open-minded and had a frontier attitude towards all this.
We had mystics, we had psychic kids. We had children from Germany that could harness and actually showcase their ability to perform telekinesis, their ability to psychically see things with their mind and we're able to, prove that to all of us. We also deployed some of our Psionic assets that we've used and are part of our new team with Sky Watcher, and we summoned UAP.
We had the UAP come and fly around and visit and hang out with us and take off"

This is why I am not even waiting with bated breath.

I'm out on Barber. Another first hand guy whose first priority is not just straight disclosure. I guess we aren't part of the club everyone. Sorry. Only scientists and billionaires welcome. So. F'ing. Tired. Of. This.

You can do this? You can set up live psychic demonstrations complete with UAP visitation on demand and you don't have a single news crew with you? Bring a team from CNN, another from FOX. Start your dog and pony show. Let them record. If there is anything worth seeing, let the world judge then. And this is from the guy who doesn't even think humanity is ready per se. Until then, I can't take Barber seriously.

I legitimately am a "believer", guys. I promise I am. I do believe NHI is not only possible but probable and even more so with direct contact over the years. But the largely agreed upon leading experts we have on the topic right now aren't it for me. If I were being blunt, I currently judge the crop of them as an unserious bunch with self advancement in various ways as their main guiding principles. And I hate that I feel that way.

Guess all we can though is just wait and see, again (ad nauseam)

And to be absolutely clear, I am not stuck in this viewpoint of mine. I honestly hope I am proven wrong in the coming weeks and months. But until that happens, I will continue to have this opinion that I've formed over the years.

And like the post above mine, I'm open to all of this, I think there's probably some other dimension with crafts popping in to our dimension. But these yahoos try to take it too far and lose all credibility. The religious nonsense they're spouting is also stupid.

I haven't watched the full interview yet and it does seem outrageous that no one at this event had a camera handy, but I do find it interesting that "psi" children were specifically mentioned as being able to "summon" the UAP. Were these children non-speakers, perhaps?

I was interested in the Telepathy Tapes mentioned way back in this thread and watched a bit of it. Very interesting, I think it appeals to a lot of things I'd LIKE to believe. If all legit I have to wonder why it doesn't get more attention from a wider audience than just those fascinated by the "things unproven" like collective consciousness, visitations by off world species, etc.

Some alternate viewpoints, not to accept at face value but to stimulate critical analysis:

Barbers statement of left handed gay men having a propensity of psionic abilities has Reddit banding together. The assumption is if you get a straight left handed man and a gay man and combine them in a night of drunken mistakes, they will gain superpowers and can control spacecraft.

This is why we will conquer the stars. Humanity is unstoppable. We are inevitable. We are coming for that ass, Jupiter.

Maybe try approaching just from a conversation standpoint? Like start up a conversation about how minds work and how little we know so far about them and how interesting it is to you. Then progress to people feeling like they are having their minds "brushed" by something before feeling the urge to do or check something. Like the mother's intuition phenomenon, twins sensing each other in danger, etc. use these as examples and others like it to gauge her reaction and initial stance. Might be better than just outright asking. Just keep kiting around it and may see an opportunity to press if it presents.

I do admit that this is a bit concerning.

However, in this field, I've long since learned not to throw out someone's entire testimony simply because of one seemingly dubious claim.

That, and he clearly states, multiple times, that his primary goal is to help bring about disclosure. This event - if it happened - could have been a "closed doors" type of thing for any number of reasons... they're still testing their methods, aren't yet ready to invite media, etc.

He's eventually going to have to put up or shut up, though, when it comes to his Skywatcher program, which he seems more than willing to do. We'll just have to wait and see.

If so, Nope was ahead of its time...

In the UAP field, I've learned that a minimum 7-day rule applies. Long enough to count the witness' bigfoot sightings, alien abductions, reincarnations, etc. I joke, but not much. Comingeling first hand UAP crash retrieval testimony with claims of telepathically summoning and controlling UAPs? I stopped counting red flags on this 'witness.' Good grief!

You can point out all the "red flags" you want, but you're still doing so through the lens of an early 21st century human being with five limited senses through which to interpret/experience our narrow view of reality. That, and ten years ago, the thought of any government official talking aliens, much less publicly on national news, would have been met with the same, incredulous "Good grief!" Now? It's literally a daily occurrence, from some of the biggest names in government, and no one bats an eye. Factor in things like The Telepathy Tapes, chronicling what increasingly feels like a very real phenomenon, and I promise you we're going to look back in another ten years and be surprised at how crazy we thought "psionics" were. To that end, the whole "summoning craft" thing isn't new, and has been reported from other credible officials before. Barber simply is simply lending another voice/perspective to it.

Members of the military and elected officials, most notably presidents, have been talking about UFO's for 70+ years. Many presidents have promised they would release records and the truth. Many presidents have publicly stated they have had sightings of UFO's. Former ranked military members have said they believe in interplanetary craft dating back at least 50 years. What I would accept as different NOW is a rise in those saying they themselves have first hand seen captured tech or even biological proof of aliens in possession of government. That is stronger than much of the history

presidents - https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2023/11/17/us-presidents-ufo-obsession-00127519

radio program with military members and first lady discussing UFO sighting - https://blogs.loc.gov/manuscripts/2024/05/of-note-eleanor-roosevelt-alien-investigator/

15 years ago - https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ex-air-force-personnel-ufos-deactivated-nukes/

1979 article mentioned former high rank AF members who believed in off world tech https://www.nytimes.com/1979/10/14/archives/ufo-files-the-untold-story.html (lots of other interesting history too)

Could link on an on. My entire life I recall documentaries and talk shows discussing sightings, abductions, a various proof of existence. These shows would in fact include credible people in both private sector and military. It's a huge, huge topic of interest my entire life and perhaps throughout human existence.

Texags, and most of us, will still be here in 10 years so we can check in on psionics. https://texags.com/forums/12/topics/1506700/replies/21394008

I never said members of the military/elected officials haven't come forward prior to now. Of course they have. In fact, I've discussed this here before, but I've been working on a Roswell movie for some time now, all about Jesse Marcel - a former intelligence officer - coming forward all the way back in 1978.

The difference is, when he came forward, it was on Leonard Nimoy's In Search of... series. And ever since then, damn near every other official who has came forward prior to 2017 was relegated to similar fare, i.e. Unsolved Mysteries, The History Channel, Ancient Aliens, obscure documentaries, etc.

It wasn't currently-serving members of the military or prominent, currently-in-office elected officials.

It wasn't on national news broadcast.

It wasn't on a daily basis.

It wasn't under oath in congressional hearings.

That's the difference I'm talking about.

While most of the military/officials who came forward prior to 2017 were, indeed, by-and-large looked at by the general public as embellishers, liars, crazies, etc.

Now?

Not a day goes by that NewsNation, Fox News, CNN, CBS, The Wall Street Journal, TMZ, etc isn't talking to someone currently in office about UAPs, or running a story about military pilots having witnessed UAPs, etc.

It's not just one small claim though. It's massive. He's not saying he has some shaky footage or anything. He has blatantly said that he organized a party of top scientists and billionaires to a watch party where his org demonstrated several psionic capabilities of which any one of which would be history breaking and then had German kiddos summon a UAP for everyone to goggle at. All outside of government control and oversight. And that part is HUGE.

This to me says two things. He is confident in his ability to do it, and it should be repeatable. And he is choosing not to do it. He says he proved it to everyone there. Cool. Do it again. Invite news crews from all sides. Get some podcasters there. Anything. Anything at all. Any outside representation who can retell/report. That is what disclosure is.

At this point I have him pegged as another shill to his own ego and probable grifter. I'll eat crow if need be in the future. Till then, I'm a skeptic on this dude. A big one at that. Shut up or put up was at that event he said he did.

ETA: man, on read back I seem terribly angry huh. Oof. I'm really not. I am just not entertaining these grifters as I see them, anymore. Call it exasperation. I don't want reality tv and that is exactly how I saw that big interview initial release. When that clip of Barber aired of him all geared up on a UTV and that sweet action shot of him hopping out of it and using his binos to recon the distant land….covered in fog with visibility maybe 50 ft, I barked out a laugh. What a joke. Call it nitpicky and veering from the topic but the principal of it kills me. If you want to be taken seriously, you can't be doing unserious stuff IMO. Otherwise it just seems they are dressing up a part as best they can. Which always has my defenses up, no matter the topic.

And then this latest development of him saying he can do things….Well, time to perform IMO. Like, now.
