It can also be a one-time experience. Nolan has talked multiple times about seeing a UFO above a forest he was walking through as a kid on his paper route, which he's said had a big impact him. I don't think he's had other experiences outside of that, but I could be wrong.

Again, Greer is not a hack...fraud etc. based on what I was told, not something I read. Just to be clear. In time, I think you will come realize this. The pushback against someone that has devoted so much to exposing and resolving this issue is odd at best. I can safely say that without his efforts, none of this disclosure process would be taking place. Your attempts at trying control what folks can read is troubling. I'd like to think we are all mature enough to choose whether to click on a link or not. I honestly think his information is on point, regardless of what you think of him personally. Hell, George Washington smoked pot...It's not that difficult guys.

PS..I think it would be to the benefit of us if you guys would view the video. For a hack, the guy is in the middle of some intense stuff going on behind the scenes with multiple gov officials, defense contractor whistleblowers and who knows who else. He knows and speaks with Grusch. He was the one Michael Herrera contacted with his story. No doubt many others have as well. We need more "hacks" like this..

Yes, in the '90s and early '00s, Greer was once considered legit, and ran in the same circles as many of the field's more trusted names. He was even instrumental in helping the Wilson/Davis memo come to be, a document that is considered one of the most important in all of ufology.

But since that time, EVERY SINGLE ONE of those prominent/trusted names has distanced themselves from Greer, in blatant fashion. No one even remotely reputable wants anything to do with him anymore, because of how far off the deep end he went, and how obvious it is to everyone but you that he went full snake oil salesman.

As for you posting about him here, this isn't one of those "everyone should make up their minds for themselves" situations, because the reality of the situation - the reality you refuse to admit - is that he is inarguably corrupt. Greer is simply poison for any kind of serious discussion, in that he does nothing but muddy the waters and give ammo to anyone looking to discredit the subject. It's akin to sharing Q-Anon bullsh*t over and over again, and then acting incredulous when people don't want to be associated with it.

For the umpteenth time, as someone who is clearly so passionate about this subject, it's never not amazing how hellbent you are on giving it the worst reputation possible, willfully and stubbornly embracing every cliche of a gullible ufo nut.

Yes, I contacted his group and got the true story as relayed here before. Again, I believe what he has and continues to contribute is awesome. It's as important an item as any we have ever dealt with. As a species. Who else in this field do you guys have this much disdain for? Not that it matters that greatly....just curious. You get way to worked up over this Greer thing I think. And I don't post anything via him to trigger you. I honestly think he has some really good information to pass along. From all accounts he very tied in with this process and is very much in a position to know. I would simply contact his group and ask the questions that you need answers for. I did.

What do we think about Sean Kirkpatrick?

What is your rationale for why every last reputable expert in the field has distanced themselves from Greer? And not subtly so, but in no uncertain terms, spelling out exactly why they refuse to engage with him anymore. How do you square that? Nolan, Elizondo, Mellon, Coulthart, Dolan - heck, even Corbell - along with countless others. They've ALL publicly condemned the guy. Not a single one thinks "he has some really good information to pass along." In fact, their opinion is the exact opposite, on numerous occasions warning against giving the guy even an ounce of sunlight. How can you be a believer in the subject, and listen to/endorse so much of what these people bring to the table, yet go against them on one of the things they seem to agree on the most? I'm not saying that we should always take everything every one of them says as gospel. But on this? The jury isn't out. They've delivered their verdict time and again and it's unanimous. Not even factoring in the provable lies Greer has told that we can objectively discern for ourselves.

This important subject needs credible, non-grifting people to be highlighted.

I specifically remember a few years ago Dolan being asked about him and he refused to condemn him and even credited him for some of his sources and getting certain documents (or something) released from the government. I've seen Tim Burchett appear on shows with him, and has backed up what Greer has been claiming lately (by this I only mean that Greer has stated that he has been communicating with the gov't on where these black sites are operating and who is involved, not on whether his intel is actually accurate). I am definitely not a fan and never seek out his content, but will listen to him on occasion; definitely with a huge grain of salt.

At a minimum it's better to filter possibilities, opinions, facts through a place like News Nation that has something to lose by being shady, as opposed to those with a business model.

That he's indisputably been caught lying and faking encounters on multiple occasions - major reasons why he's been repeatedly denounced by the actually credible, which has been detailed here, and why many posters hope Greer's garbage is kept off this thread, which has been repeatedly requested.

I'm only aware of one incident that actually turned out to be false concerning him according to the person I contacted. A flare deal or something. I'd love to know what all else? Are there any others in this "field" you have reservations about? I'd love to get Richard Dolan's take on Greer.

Yes, this is one item I don't believe is true as well. Way too much evidence to the contrary especially the data collected by Farsight. His notion that all of these animal mutilations are the result of some deep black gov program does not add up either IMO. Especially when one considers that some of these events evidently occurred in the distant past.

As for what I think of him, like with everything else on here, I have no idea. Ever since I saw Sirius or whatever (which was the first I heard of him) I've avoided him at all cost. I have been a little surprised not to hear him condemned more by the more respected figures in the ufo community, but maybe that has changed as of late (will watch the TCCTS video after the game). His grift seems so over the top and ridiculous that it makes me question if maybe he is more legit than I give him credit for (dumb reason, I know). At the end of the day, I think he has a little bit of legit info and extracts maximum value out of that while mixing in a ton of BS. I also think he pays the media a lot to feature him as much as possible. So yes, I think he is a disinformation spreader.

Funny you mention dotty, I hadn't heard of him until someone on x posted his long interview (coming clean) and didn't realize it was Greer interviewing him.
