If anyone has been killed to maintain the coverup, I would imagine those people were threatening to reveal either actionable details or proof. Someone simply claiming "aliens" without proof is WAY different than "here's where all this stuff is buried" and/or "here's proof."

I'm saying what's in the defense authorizations. Which has been detailed here.

Grusch claiming people have been killed to cover this up (while he is walking and talking out in the open about it) makes him less credible, imo. Does he have Secret Service level of security watching his back?

Either way, I don't think people realize how far along all of this is behind the scenes, and how much the Senate Intelligence Committee, Schumer, etc already know. Ok, maybe that's true but in my opinion it's far more likely to be one of the following 3 options.

1. .01% chance - it's what you said or similar.
2. 0.99% chance - the government is aware and is actually fine with them saying what they said for whatever reason (disinformation, etc.).
3. 99% chance - the government simply doesn't care or have time to follow what every single past employee of the past 80 years (many millions of them) that may be some combination of crazy, attention seeking, money hungry, delusional, or just plain senile says about stuff.

I guess we'll find out.

The Senate Intelligence Committee is a completely different entity than the House, and deals in classified info that can't be stated publicly. Grusch has already testified to the former, behind closed doors, but will be testifying to the House next Wednesday, who aren't yet authorized to hear/know what the Senate Intelligence Committee knows.

Again, think of next Wednesday as a warm-up of sorts. Some bombs can be dropped, no doubt, but there is way more opportunity for fireworks when Grusch & co testify, in public this time, in front of the Senate in either August or September.

I know you're just teasing but I'm honestly not interested in ruining anybody's fun or mocking or any of that, but since Congress is publicly involved this concerns all of us and I'm trying to apply as much logic and rational thought to it as possible.

Something has got to give. If there really is anything to this then yeah, we need to be told at least a summary of the substantive facts, if it's blatant intentional government disinformation then we need to be able to pick that apart, too, and if it's simply an example of our government being so hopelessly stupid and useless that it's meddling in genuine childish science fiction then we need to be able to be aware of that, too.

It's certainly easy to go down rabbit holes with this stuff. I keep seeing Steven Greer's name all over who seems to be some kind of patron saint of the dyed in the wool believers, I've heard his name before but since so many people are saying "This all backs up what he's said and proves he's been right all along!" They keep referencing a show he was on a few days ago and I just watched some of it.

Man, admittedly I've not consumed much of his input yet but from what he's saying and how he's saying it he comes off as a 100% narcissistic pathological liar, transparently so. So you're really convinced we're going to be shown such amazing stuff that this is going to change anyone's mind that's not already fully onboard? I seriously doubt it. Either there's nothing to it anyway or else there is something to it and nothing indisputable will be shown except maybe more fuzzy dots and repeats of what we've heard for decades.

This is the same kind of stuff I see on the comments on Ross' youtube videos or those of Newsnation the only (and almost brand new) news channel that's even bothering to follow any of this. "This world will be totally transformed by what we're all about to see!, Everyone will finally know the truth! You just wait, minds will be blown!" The words from the hardcore followers, and the enormous number of prominent Greer-like frauds, is what leads me to constantly assume that this is all fantasy until proven otherwise. And if it is shown to be real then of course I'll accept it.

I haven't even watched it yet, and I will, but it's stuff like this and his other "I know mind-blowing stuff but I can't tell you" type statements that immediately puts my guard up that it's all just intentionally stringing people along. But I'll watch it soon.
