The slow build from New Barry back to Old Barry at the end was shot beautifully. Like he was about to turn into a damn wolf or something. All from just his back. Well done.
The mansion that Fuches and his men are at was also used in season 4 of The Last Ship. Just noticed that tonight because I recently streamed that series.

This show is just so well made, whatever your opinion on the storyline (I personally like it)
The sound design is amazing, framing of shots and just how it flows. I'm sure there are other people that deserve credit beyond Hader, but I want to see a movie from him.

No, he hasn't directed a feature yet. The excitement for his career as a director is based solely on his directorial efforts on Barry so far (that, and the fact that he's a huge cinephile).

Such a great episode. It was good to get back some of the absurd humor that was so prevalent in earlier episodes. That said, I think we are the path to a very dark and violent finale.

Now, maybe I missed it but do we know how Hank made it out of the car when surrounded by the flock of ravens and it was getting full of holes. I know he was on the phone with fuches. I just assumed he died

Jim Moss is perhaps the most decent, competent character on the show. A true good guy, solving cases the police can't and taking down suspects that elude everyone else. And he's just a general bad ass out avenging the death of his equally competent daughter. In any real world, non TV show, environment THIS is who everyone wants to win.
Yet, if being honest, I find myself hoping Barry's brand of unhinged psychosis somehow is too much for even Jim Moss to break through.

Best episode of the season IMO, mostly due to the return of classic NohoHank. The Raven scene with the women was great too

I don't blame anyone for missing the humorous part of the show, because it is so good. I find the show at its best when it mixes the humor in with the odd/serious parts.Old Tom Morris said:
