Thomas Covenant. Most hated anti hero ever.

My answer (Commodus) is true on both questions. He's my favorite villain because I hate him so much.
It's not a huge leap.

Plus he lied about being able to play baseball so when poor Linklater saw him try to pitch he had to hire another actor for the baseball scenes (he learned his lesson and fixed that "glitch" with his film Everybody Wants Some!!).Bruce Almighty said:

Incorrect.
I really don't understand how things like that make it through shooting a movie. Does Linklater just not realize he's doing it all the time while filming? Does he not notice during editing? Is he basically stuck with a few takes of each scene where the actor grabs the bridge of his nose? It really is distracting during the movie.Prosperdick said:Plus he lied about being able to play baseball so when poor Linklater saw him try to pitch he had to hire another actor for the baseball scenes (he learned his lesson and fixed that "glitch" with his film Everybody Wants Some!!).Bruce Almighty said:

But back to your point about his horrible acting as you mentioned with the OCD nose grabbing...Linklater really spit the bit with this casting but because he nailed just about everything else (especially the soundtrack), it remains a classic.
