Killers 3/25 in Houston
I love TTB, saw them at their Dallas show at Majestic Theater, while they sounded great, the show seemed incredible stale probably due to the concert goers and the venue, just sitting the entire time, no excitement from the crowd at all (lot of olds)BBRex said:
Tedeschi Trucks Band is coming back to Texas for the first time since 2019. Looks like they'll be in San Antonio, Houston (Sugar Land), Dallas, Austin and Fort Worth in the beginning of May. It will be nice to hear songs from "I Am the Moon" live.

This might be a fun show, but once again Houston gets the shaft. Why? We're the 4th largest city in the country. Do artists just think Houston fans will travel to Austin or Dallas if we want to see them that badly? Can Houston not support a tour stop? A show like this I definitely wouldn't drive to see, but wouldn't mind seeing if it came to Houston.
Definitely will be at the VA show -- interesting pairing with Amon Amarth that I don't hate one bit.62strat said:
Anyway.. just got the email for this.
Always make time out of my day to see Ghost. Almost conflicted with Metallica in Dallas.
Wednesday Oct 4th in Houston is doable.johnnyblaze36 said:
Ton of new Depeche Mode dates out today. I'm definitely in for Sunday, October 1st in Dallas the day after Ags vs Ark at Jerry World. Just hoping the ticket prices aren't as insane as upcoming San Antonio and Las Vegas dates now that there are a lot more shows. Probably wishful thinking.

I've never been the biggest concert person, but my wife loves them (especially EDM shows). I will say I'm in the Tyler Childers book of really wanting to see him, but no way in hell am I paying $200+ for lawn GA. His level of star power used to cost $25 at the Hall of Fame. I absolutely despise concert prices right now.
On the docket right now:
Aaron Watson 3/10 Arlington
Cody Johnson 3/11 at the American Rodeo
Seven Lions (4/13)
Some other EDM festival in Fort Worth
Ed Sheeran (5/6) (This will be interesting because the girl who bought all the tickets has kinda been kicked out of my wife's friend group)
Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas (5/19-21)
Probably Fall Out Boy in June
Shane Smith & the Saints - 6/3
Electric Forest in Michigan (6/22-25)
Blink-182 (7/5) in Dallas
Made that one too, great showAustinAg2012 said:
Adam Sandler last night. Hilarious. It definitely qualified as a concert.
Amen to this. Friends went to the Springsteen show in Austin and said the concert was great, but it still wasn't worth the ticket price. Friends of theirs paid $500 each for tickets one row from the top of Moody (the basketball arena). FYI, I did see Tyler at Willie's picnic and was pretty disappointed. He had an hour long set and played a bunch of unreleased material, a few covers, and only a couple of his more popular songs.wangus12 said:

We saw Pony Bradshaw at Sam's Burger Joint in San Antonio last night! He's a really talented singer that kept the crowd engaged with some occasional stories but mostly they just burned through their set. Good energy and great sound all around! We'll definitely be seeing him again when he plays Devil's Backbone Tavern on April 7th.
