Do we know what happens to Cody post Clone Wars?
I don't think so, unless it's in some other media.

Cody going from telling Crosshair "Good soldiers follow orders" to not killing that local and then going AWOL is a huge shift in a small time. I guess the inhibitor chips are losing their power?

I think we're going to see Crosshair's "loyalty" to the Empire start to wear. There was also the thing Cody said about the difference b/w clones and droids being the ability to choose. Which Crosshair knows was taken away from most of them with the chips.

To Porkchop's point - not only might some of the clones be questioning Order 66 to begin with, how many of them might be struggling to come to grips with their actions in helping kill off the Jedi? Assuming the chips are failing, or something.

I'd say Cody has probably been considering it for a while, and that situation was the tipping point, with Crosshair murdering someone who posed zero threat to anyone and easily could have been just taken into custody. And she was murdered because an Imperial peon decided it had to happen that way. Cody didn't like breaking his word.

I think Cody was probing crosshair with that conversation. Telling him that good soldiers follow orders was just cover because he knew where crosshair stood when he said those going AWOL were traitors.

And I think the chips are either failing, or they were designed for the singular purpose of executing order 66, not everything that happened after.

Don't underestimate the demoralizing effect of the clones being replaced by non-clones.

Even the most loyal can be disheartened if they feel useless and abandoned.

After reading this, I think there's an outside chance that crosshair kills Rampart.

I also think the chips only somewhat kept the clones in line (like a restraining bolt) and then decidedly forced them to follow Order 66, but it doesn't make them mindless drones.

They still have personalities, morals and can make decisions to not follow orders. But their training to be loyal soldiers usually quashes that.

An interesting wrinkle here is we know Vader maintains a preference for clones in the 501st as time goes on...

I doubt it counts as canon anymore, but Commander Cody is the protagonist in the original Star Wars Battlefront. or perhaps BF2, I can't remember. You do a campaign with him that includes the battle on Utapau but then pivots to him at the Jedi Temple for Order 66 and putting down insurrections on Naboo and Kashhyk afterwards. That's the only time he's been seen post-Order 66 in any medium that I can think of.

Really? I thought he was hilarious. Was like having a robot Flynn Rider. The PA announcer made me laugh a lot too. For what looked like a really formulaic episode on the surface, I liked having Tech be the pilot when I assumed they would have Omega do it, and I liked the suspicion bout Carla Tortelli not being a good person.

Although the entire premise that she had no money to pay her debts makes zero sense as she runs a cantina and is constantly getting cuts of the Batch's jobs.

Not a fan of the episode. Minor development as Tech begins to question working for Syd.

I knew I recognized the voice, but couldn't place it, and then when you said "the woooorst" I replayed that scene in my mind, but didn't put it all together

I rather liked that episode. Yes it was more of a throw away but served as a tool to build to something bigger with Sid.

Tay-o was a lot of fun and the racing itself was really well done. Agree with a few other posters here as I also thought Omega was going to race and go down that road…..so glad it didn't….

And I KNEW I recognized the voice for Sid's nemesis….so glad it was Ernie Hudson….

Also wondering if this episode will serve as a way for the empire (or some other foe) to realize clone force 99 is still alive as they announced Tech as the racer and he won

That was a terrible episode.

1) I've already seen Raiders of the Lost Ark, I don't need to see the Bad Batch version
2) I've already seen a xenomorph, I don't need to see the Bad Batch version
3) Wanda Sykes character didn't die
4) The Bad Batch appears to have no goals whatsoever. And they should have stood up to her 30 different times and vetoed the mission.
5) Pretty sure they were on Morag, where Quill found the Power Stone.

How long has Omega been with them? I know she's a kid, but she's too reckless for someone that has been training for covert combat missions.

You people will complain about anything. That was a fun episode dipping into a side of Star Wars we don't often see on screen. Slow down and let the thing breathe, man. Not every episode has to be critical to the main arc.

Well, as a stand alone episode, I liked the Indiana Jones homage. But like C@LAg said, I hope they start building towards something. Man that was a short episode too.

Another episode with great music in it.

And to me, Wanda Sykes can't be any character, cause I always just see Wanda Sykes.

Idk, pacing and season composition seems on par with other SW animated series. They all have little throw-away, non-consequential episodes.

We know the BB is struggling to figure out what to do about the Rebellion and Omega's future. There'll be some event coming soon that'll force them to make decisions on those things.

If Wanda Sykes character doesn't get killed it will be the most disappointed I've been since Tea Leoni didn't die in Jurassic Park III.

Definitely a throw away episode and agree with everyone else that Wanda's character is pretty dang annoying….

Unfortunately I think we get one more throw away episode like this and things are going to start getting interesting at episode 7 (they've released all 16 episode titles)

Fun episode and I really enjoyed the tension between the Clones and Gungi, not to mention the KOTOR shoutout with the Kinrath. I have killed a lot of those creepy crawlies while leveling up Revan and company over the years.

Star Wars needs to make a show about a nice Trando. They have the worst rap in the history of the galaxy. There's a cool Trando side character in The Old Republic, but that seems to be it.

Still feels like not a lot of connectivity. Having the rogue clone force help a Jedi on an Imperial-occupied world just seems like they're going to bring the wrath of the whole empire down on them. Wearing their unis everywhere and flying the same ship isn't exactly staying inconspicuous.

I did like them getting more to the total ass-whupping kind of fighting that they established them as being in the final season of The Clone Wars. Lately they seem to be sort of slap-stick, getting out of trouble just barely sort of heroes.
