It's so obvious the kid is the trainer's son and not Cameron's. Aubrey Plaza says "those are just your kids" and she makes the most obvious face in the world, then cuts back to Aubrey who make the most obvious "oh i got it" face in the world. how is there any debate?

I thought it was a little odd to be honest. It's one thing to hint to your acquaintance you barely know that you should go get a personal trainer that you can ****… but to basically admit your husbands kids aren't his?? I dunno, just a little weird, but I guess it was more for the audience to show how messed up this perfect appearing husband and wife actually are.


I thought it was super obvious to us that the kids were the trainers. And to me she was deliberately telling Aubrey's character that with her "oops."

I'm not disagreeing with that at all, and I don't think there's much debate

Agree, I really enjoyed Season 1, but it seemed more funny/goofy/cringy with decent drama. It was fun to watch, but wasn't a must see for me. Definitely left me intrigued for Season 2.

Season 2 seems more of a normal drama with several different interwoven plot lines. Drama is much more intense with less comedy/cringe moments, but enough to get me to laugh out loud several times an episode. Just seems deeper and has me much more invested. I head on a podcast that it is probably due to Covid restraints in Season 1. This season they have a lot more to work with and more room to really let loose.

This really improved after the first episode. It's lacking an Armond quality performance but it's a quality season overall. These hit shows with entire cast turnover never seem to survive. Hope this one does

I like this season for the fact they are focusing less on the staff and more on the actual guests and their interactions. Sure there is a story line but no one hates the manager…

I'd assume that food at the hotel is part of the hotel package. Then again I'd still have to venture out to find the local restaurants that are good. I mean your in Italy some of the best food in the world.

Along the same lines re: always eating on-site, they've hardly shown any of Albie's family going offsite to "connect with their Sicilian family" (or whatever the reasoning for them being there is). Outside of visiting the place where that Godfather scene was filmed, every scene with all of them together seems to happen at the resort.

Just like the article said, in Season 1 they were confined because of COVID. Filming in 2020, there were constricted. That's why (unless I'm wrong) there was never a scene outside of the resort (except a couple scenes on a boat).

With Season 2 they have ventured out of the resort several times. Palermo. Notto. The Godfather place.

But yes, if you are Cameron, and there is a hooker that you owe money to, why not go out to eat and not continue to eat at the resort??? Lol

Portia mentioned this at one point, although she characterized it as "free," which I took to mean included.

LOL, nothing is free or included at a 5 Star resort like Auberge, Four Seasons or Rosewood which are the quality of resorts the White Lotus is portraying.

Also, I went back to watch the first five minutes of episode one from this season again and had forgotten that it was Daphne who had swam out and found the body. I think that with the preview for next week may have given us a confirmation on one of the bodies.

It was Greg and the gay "uncle." I'm guessing Greg will give the gay uncle some money for getting him a divorce payout. I think originally the guy hanging around with Portia was supposed to seduce Tanya. But then with Portia around, his role changed to distracting her and they brought in the mafia/drug dealer dude.


Aubrey and Cameron definitely hooked up, at least a little. She has wanted to since he changed in front of her, and her thinking her husband slept with the hookers gives her an excuse.


The preview showed them fighting in the water, but we don't know who kills who. Or is that another misdirection and neither of them die? I don't want to wait another week...
