One of the storylines that was not needed in season 1 is back. Right off the bat too

I agree. Glad it's back. Spencer is the best storyline in all of The Yellowstone franchise. It's awesome.

Only small criticism is the cowboy the Comanches came across in Texas right before playing hide the sausage. He literally seemed to be reading lines from a cue card. Surely they could have found someone who could act for that part. Really stood out like a sore thumb.

I did background work on this eposide. I was in the Speakeasy when Harrison Ford walked by, he slapped me on the shoulder once. The NDA this time was legit & they ment it. Although I do not know any spoilers this time like I did on Landman.

I have a few more scenes on the show coming up but none of those nude scenes everone seems to love so much.....

Tortured naked chicks is the 1923 equivalent of horses-skidding-to-a-halt in Yellowstone.

I don't know for sure but a lot of small parts in these Sheridan dramas go to real cowboys and people involved in ranching. Some of them can act, some of them can't. I'd assume this was the case here.

That very well was probably likely the case. But surely a couple more acting tips were in order before deciding to wrap that scene.

Well gee, I don't rightly know if them thar Texans have any of them ACTIN tips.

My husband and I looked at each other after this scene, and we're both "WTF was that?"

The first scene also elicited a "great. Timothy Dalton and his fetish are back" from him.

Was hoping we would get more than an episode or two of Spencer back in Montana but at the rate they are going with this show that doesn't appear to be the case. It's a slow crawl for sure.

Love the setting and era depicted in the series and I find the Spencer storyline fairly compelling but the villains are thinly written cheap caricatures, especially Timothy Dalton aka Dick Dastardly (look him up).

Can we go at least one episode where a woman doesn't get the shyt beat out of her? Damn.

I need to decide if I like this show or hate it.

Spencer is headed to Galveston, so I guess that's how he will rendezvous with Teonna Rainwater somewhere in Texas.

I guess after what happened to the little Italian guy, no one can claim the sexual violence is one-sided to a specific gender.

So with Alex being pregnant, who else thinks the baby is John II?

Spencer seems like a good grandfather for John Dutton III - a guy who likes to brand people to mark them as being owned by them.

Wouldn't Jack Dutton (usually a nickname for John) be Costners Dad?)

This seems wrong. Shouldn't Tim and Faith be above Harrison and Helen?

Good point. Forgot about that

The writers are definitely leaning into Timothy Dalton's evil to set up for a King Joffrey-type demise.

Been catching up on season 1 in anticipation of season 2. The Indian, prostitutes, and ship assault scenes are over the top with no value. Barely want to continue after starting s2e1. Otherwise decent. Agree it drags on at times especially swapping settings.

This episode was underwhelming.

Seeing the fake Galvez and Murdochs was neat. But sweet mother of god. It's gonna be 1983 by the time he finally makes it to Montana.

If there was going to be a "third" season, I would be fine with it but there isn't. Definitely setting up to have an unsatisfying ending. Oh well, I still enjoy it but I feel like it could be so much more.

Spencer's endless journey back to Montana is getting as tiresome as Daenerys Targaryen's endless trek through Essos liberating cities with slaves. Get back and start kicking ass already.

I thought this was supposed to be the second half of Season 1?
