Straight out of my preacher's mouth yesterday, brother. And I am fully aware I have been an ******* at some point or another to almost everyone on this board criticizing their opinions or takes.

Preacher man said - Jesus gave us infinite grace for all of our mistakes and things we do wrong. SO why is it that we have no grace for our fellow man when they say something or do something that we disagree with? Why do we have to put them on blast for the whole world to see?

Calling each other stupid and idiots and turning our opinions into holy wars against each other just keeps marching F13 step by step closer towards the board we all like to make fun at. We're turning ourselves into the end scene of Animal Farm on what should be the most fun board here.

WARNING: I have a deep-seated desire for others to love the Star Wars franchise as much as I do, in exactly the way I do, and get snippy and sensitive and passive-aggressive when they don't.

So this is up on HBO Max now so finally watched it.

Eesh. That could of and SHOULD have been a 30 minute Twlight Zone episode.

I'm someone who hates spoilers, so after the first trailer, which looked great, I didn't consume ANYTHING plot related to this movie. Of course the drama was hard to avoid but plot wise I knew nothing. It took 5 MAYBE 10 minutes and I laid out exactly what was going on. The only part I got wrong was that it was virtual instead of physical. I thought it was a remote town setup, ala M. Night's The Village

The film looked great, sounded great, the acting was all fine, but the story and pacing blew! Pugh goes from over the moon happy to "crazy" in like 2 minutes. There is absolutely no careful construction of it. It's way to fast and deep a dive. The rest just drags a bit. There should have been much more cat and mouse between her and Pine.
