The idea that he would risk his career to defend a woman who cheated on him is laughable to me.
Seems staged to me. If not staged, and I know the liberal left in CA is beyond crazy, but even there he would have been arrested on the spot. Tons of cops and security and the guy violently assaults a person and is allowed to take his seat and 45 minutes later accept an award? I don't think so.
Margot Robbie's legs.Quote:
Were there any legs there or was that just speculation?

"at your highest moment, OJ Simpson will find you and give the most ironic take of all time."
I'm now convinced that I'm on an episode of #SouthPark #ojsimpson #WillSmith https://t.co/mvMptCpEip
"I saw Chris at Guy [Oseary]'s party and as soon as I walked up to him, the first thing he said was, 'I am so sorry...It was supposed to be your night. I'm so sorry this is now going to be about this.' Because that's who Chris is." https://t.co/SoIUJSa8xK

Shock turns to hand-wringing over how the Academy should punish Will Smith: Suspend him? Expel him? Ban him from the show? Revoke his Oscar? Here, Academy governors and members weigh in: “I will never, ever vote for anything Will Smith is in again.” https://t.co/6iToigw2dM

This is how I felt at the time. He should have been escorted from the theater at the next commercial. But whoever was in charge was probably too scared to make that call, especially with best actor coming up.Quote:
But actors branch member Rutanya Alda disagreed. "I think security should have escorted him out immediately instead of letting him sit there spewing unacceptable language at Chris Rock," she asserted. "Someone else should have accepted his award. Why did he get a pass? Is the Academy frightened of celebrities? He came off as a guy with no class and made me wish I hadn't voted for him.
I realize I'm going to get blasted for this on this board and am ready for it...but I think that's likely the way it gets handled if he was not black. Especially white and slapping a black man but even prob if white on white. Society now overcompensates in their treatment of black men in many ways. Hollywood, ten fold. I could be wrong, but I think the chances are much greater that it's handled differently if races were diff.double aught said:

Gets my vote...helloimustbegoing said:
They should come out and drop the ban hammer on him. Tell him he can keep the Oscar trophy if he thinks he's worthy of it, but never let him back to the ceremony.
Then they need to appoint some hard ass as the Show Czar, who makes decisions in the moment if something like this happens, because they should have gone to a commercial, made him leave, and given the trophy to whoever finished second in the voting.
not 'blasting' you per se. but i don't think race has anything to do with this. it's about fame, money, and (as someone pointed out) ratings.Boo Weekley said:

Not everyone. A lot of people of a certain political persuasion for some reason cannot even begin to accept this notion. t least outwardly.helloimustbegoing said:
Boo, I think everyone thinks that. And because he's Will Smith, an A+++ lister. Alec Baldwin ain't that.
I'm still wondering why Will Smith fights like such a *****.
