There's less restriction on editing an IMDB page than there is Wikipedia.

I wouldn't do it.

Regardless of how the show closes, I'm a little melancholy that the series and this thread as we know it are coming to an end. It's been a fun ride.

Yeah, I heard there's a fairly big spoiler if you check the IMDB page for this episode so I wouldn't do it if you don't want anything ruined.

I'm usually excited by this time of day. This time, I'm sad that this is the final time we'll ever get a new episode.

Man, I'm gonna miss this universe.

Here's what I think happens tonight… Jimmy gets off scott free, but at the expense of causing irreparable damage, like he's done his whole life.

He will talk his way out of whatever is coming his way tonight, like he's done his whole life.

The tragedy is he always finds a way to save himself but not without negatively impacting others.

Maybe that changes tonight. Dunno. Doubt it.
Now that you mention it, him getting off scot-free would be the most Saul Goodman ending they could give the show. And ditto the irreparable damage, getting off scot-free and a happy ending are two different things. I just don't see how they pull it off in an hour.

Well the run time (including commercials) is 1 hour 38 minutes so they have extra time.

An episode or two in BCS this season has already surpassed BB's greatest episode of all time, Ozymandias, in my opinion

BCS proved itself as as the superior show. Both series are phenomenal. This is my controversial entertainment take of the year.
You can tell you are smoking crack when the thing most people have been looking forward to this entire season was the appearance of Walter White. BB will likely not be surpassed in our lifetime. And unless BCS has the most amazing finale of all time, it won't do so either.
I honestly wish they never told the fans that Walt and Jesse would be making an appearance. It made it way too anticipated. Would have been much better as a surprise.

Totally your opinion on BB vs BCS. I think BCS is better overall, and I absolutely love BB. I know I'm not alone in thinking this, too.
I disagree on the overall quality. I think it's the best show on TV right now and is the only show that I watch live. But just look at the ratings between the two. BCS had the benefit of standing on BB's shoulders, yet after season one viewership took a nosedive. The finale of BB had over 10M viewers. Today won't be close.
yeah and that's a shame. people pass on BCS because it's a spinoff and they assume it's not as good as BB. another one I hear is people watched it early on but stopped because "iT wAs ToO sLoW" hurr durr.

Regardless of ratings, I still think it's at the same level as BB in terms of quality. people are missing out for sure.
Being too slow is a legit complaint. There is a wide gap between being too slow and going full Michael Bay. BB played it perfectly, IMO. There were no karate fights, no walking away from explosions, or any of that nonsense, yet you had damn exciting episodes throughout. Hell, if you would have told me that most of the largest gunfight in the entire show would basically happen off camera between two episodes, I would have said the writers were crazy. But holy crap, did they make it work.

I think BCS goes too far in the slow direction. That one Gene episode with the mall heist is one example.

Did you forget the whole plane crash thing? Plus Walter walking away from the explosion at Tuco's HQ?
I'm not saying explosions in general, I'm talking about the cliche a dude walks away from a ginormous explosion. Like this:

BB sorta had one in S1 with that dudes BWM, but that was small and more of a "don't draw attention to myself" walk than a "I'm so cool, I don't even need to look at the nuke going off behind me" like in 99% of action movies.

And he was in Tuco's HQ. That wasn't close to what I'm talking about.

I'm really going to miss it too.

I'm still betting it's not completely over. Of course these guys are gonna set the expectation not to see it again only to wow us half a decade later.

I won't put it to bed until they both retire, and I frankly don't see either gilligan or Gould retiring for another 20 years. Gilligan is only 55. This universe will get a swan song.

I think Jimmy fences his diamonds to the guy he was selling identities to and uses his final bit of money to go to Belize where he works in a little restaurant on the beach and refers to himself in third person. Jimmy likes the conch ceviche, Jimmy thinks you will like it too. Can Jimmy make you another tequila sunrise? Jimmy likes a rusty nail.

The only thing I don't like about this Jimmy-gets-off-scot-free angle you guys are discussing is it would have to come at the expense of Kim, and I don't know if I can handle that. Is there some twisted way he could take her affidavit and spin it to not only shift all the Howard blame to her, but also position her as the mastermind behind Walt's money laundering?

Because if Jimmy could screw Kim over and condemn her to a long prison sentence while somehow clearing his own name and living free for the rest of his life, THAT would be the most Saul thing ever.

I think Saul does not get away without consequences. Read an interview with Gould and he said they name the episodes after they're done. He said tonight's episode title just seemed appropriate after it was all said and done. Just leading me to believe that Saul will lose everything (but not his life). Any relationship that still exists with Kim, his freedom, etc. It's all gone.

Lalo told Nacho to torch one of Gus' restaurants, I guess part of some plan to make him look bad in front of the cartel. Nacho was a mole by that point, so Gus had to let him go through with it (and actually do most of it himself) to maintain Nacho's cover.

Nippy? That episode was not slow. It was excellent

Remember Fly? THAT was slow
Yes. Fly was the worst episode of the series. No doubt.

But Nippy was on par with that. Hell just scroll up in this thread and read the complaints about it. And that is from people who have been die hard enough to stick the whole show up to now.
What?? Nippy was a great episode. It was also an important one. It was the first all-Gene episode that gave us a deeper look at his life post-BB. It showed us that Saul is actually a worse person than we were originally led to believe. And he can't shake this part of his past self and continues to con people, including sweet old ladies.
