I had a savings account with them around '07 that paid over 5%. Didn't realize how impressive that was then. Seems crazy now. ING was eventually bought by Capital One. I still have a little money in that account. I don't know what the rate is now; it's too low to even care about.

BB and BCS also tells a story that reaches an apex.

A lot of popular shows trail off in later seasons. Cousin oliver out when the writers run out of ideas.

BCS isn't really a prequel.

It is, but you wouldnt want to start with BCS is what i'm saying.

More pointless speculation. I keep coming back to November 12th at 3PM. It HAS to be Kim that is calling.

Lalo needs something from Jimmy. Maybe Lalo kidnaps and absconds with Kim to ensure he gets it from Jimmy? And this goes on for years, requiring Jimmy to permanently adopt the Saul Goodman persona? If he's a good little boy, he gets to talk to Kim once a year.

I also keep thinking of other shows like Narcos, The Bridge and even the Sicario movies where the CIA is in cahoots with the cartels. Could Lalo be working with the CIA in some way? However, this is now trope which would be out of place in the Gilliverse.

Did they even know they were going to do BCS at the time of that BB episode though? Seems kinda like the Ignacio/Lalo line that meant nothing at the time but ended up shaping almost a whole series.

Found it. It's actually Better Call Saul Season 4 Episode 5. That definitely means that detail will be explained. Otherwise they would not have put it in there.

Now that I have this cleared up I think the theory above makes a lot of sense.

Yeah it could be Kim, for sure.

Or it could be Lalo.

Or it could be both Kim and Lalo … under some set of circumstances.

Yes, they didn't randomly throw in a scene from the BB timeline just for fan service. There was a deliberate point.
