To me, this is still the most creative and compelling camera angle of any TV/movie I can think of:



When you normally see a person in a hospital bed, you feel like a person standing next to them. This angle put me in Chuck's head. I didn't "see" anything around him, only his "pain".

Agreed, I initially thought it might lead him to Madrigal but it seems it will lead him to one of Werner's men. You would hope it's Kai and that Lalo tortures and kills him (sorry, he was made an unlikeable character and it's just a TV show) but I doubt Kai would commission that with the company. One of the nicer, loyal Boys would have been linked to the order.

The shot of Kim's reflection on the surface of the coffee while visiting with Viola was another creative angle.

I did notice the shot of Gus in the lab, kneeling next to the excavator, and he was doing something, but you could not see exactly what he was doing. He is smart and always one step ahead of just about everyone.

I like the irony of Kim being scared sh/tless that Lalo is right outside her door while he's 5 - 6,000 miles away.

I can't think of a good scenario where he uses that gun.

If I had to guess, Lalo gets evidence and suspicion of the lab somehow (I didn't think the Germans knew what it was for). It has to be compelling enough that he can out himself as alive. So he goes to Bolsa with his info. Bolsa and Lalo confront Gus and Gus takes them down there to show that is' nothing but a hole (I forget what his original excuse was). But then what? He grabs his stashed gun and shoots Lalo? With Bolsa sitting right there (who we know lives)?

I can't see how that goes down.

I thought when he got up and it zoomed out, you could see the gun under the track of the excavator.
I couldn't really tell if that's what it was, though.

They probably will have a service elevator that is not shown (or built yet). They got to get all that meth making equipment in there somehow.

So how exactly did Lalo track down Werner's widow? I dont recall Werner spilling the beans on his personal info when Lalo faked him out with that phone call in S4. Or maybe he did, idk.

I imagine Lalo just used what he already knew. Werner's name, that he was from Germany, and figured out how to find his wife from there. Werner also mentions "Kai" by name in the call, could end up relevant.

ETA: at the one minute mark they show a paper with the wire transfer information. Looks like it could have Wener's wife's name on that.
