I honestly wish Sony had worked out a deal with Netflix to get this show streaming the day after airing or something.

I'm probably gonna have to bite the bullet and get a couple months of AMC+ for this final season.

According to What's on Netflix, Better Call Saul season 5 will finally hit Netflix on Monday, April 4, which happens to be exactly two weeks before the premiere of the final season.

They still releasing episodes on iTunes Store after they air on AMC?

Done this since season 1. Hope its still the case.

Edit: See no sign of it on iTunes or AppleTV. In past years they would let you pre-order it and stream individual episodes as they were released week by week. Might be that its just not out yet. Still more than a month to go.

He got done the other day with watching the advance copies of S6 Pt1, and says it's as good as any programming he's ever seen. Fingers crossed he's not blowing smoke up my butt.

I guess they released the first two episodes for "formal" reviewing as well, those reviews are now online.

I'm rewatching season 5 this week and had forgotten how well done it was.

I've got some laaaaate night viewing coming up this weekend to rewatch S5 as well. I plugged through the earlier seasons a month or two ago. Episodes with Chuck seem like such a beating when being viewed, but Michael McKean really was an outstanding and necessary character to help get Jimmy prepared to turn into Saul.

After digesting S5 2 years ago, i was at the crux of deciding that BCS and BB were equal in my mind, neither series was better than the other. I'm hopeful that S6 knocks it out of the park and leaves me with a clear winner.

Yeah, I can't scroll Twitter now without seeing big-name outlet after big-name outlet openly talking about this, so I don't how feasible it is that this will (or should) remain a "spoiler." It's also nothing we haven't discussed before, and I actually think the conversation would be pretty fun as to *how* they're going to pull this off, now that it's official they're actual going to do it.

People who haven't watched BCS think I'm crazy for saying this, but I firmly believe BCS is in the same caliber as BB when it comes to quality. Vince Gilligan is brilliant.

Yeah this definitely feels like a fan pleaser. I am guessing it will take place at the same time as BB S1. The events toward the end of BCS probably coincide with the beginning of BB (as opposed to BB starting right where BCS ends). Especially since saul isn't introduced until S2.

It will feel weird since the actors have visibly aged. Highly doubt we'll see Jesse in one of those Gene flash forwards.

How to watch …

Did some research on how to watch BCS Season 6 if you don't have cable or streaming with AMC included.

Short answer is you got to download and subscribe to AMC+ for $8.99 a month and watch via AppleTV or other streaming devices.

From what I can tell, the show will be available on Netflix, but only outside the US.

Note that this is a change from previous seasons which were available for download direct from AppleTV / iTunes Store.

I agree, he's the perfect mix of charming and menacing.

How has it taken TV this long to make a show based on the worst stereotypes of a slimy lawyer? Most lawyers in media are heroic and stoic. Watching a con artist/lawyer is super entertaining.

The character is very fun but if there was any criticism it's relating to the same reason he is a great, fun character - they almost made him a super villain. Leaping into the arroyo, sleeping "1 or 2 hours a night, all I need", escaping a professional hit squad, an excellent cook, and super sleuth who tracks down Ziegler and Mike - he does it all. The Super Salamanca, efficient and deadly like The Twins, ruthless like Tuco, the brains beyond any other Salamanca?

If you watched Breaking Bad I guess you know Lalo's status at the end of BCS, will be fun to see how it plays out.

I don't remember Lalo being mentioned at all except in Saul's first episode. Did I miss something about Lalo's status?

Edit: Are you talking about how Gus tells Hector that every Salamanca is dead?
