Yeah, the love island dude said he rented a standard for a few weeks just before the race, which is the minimum that anyone going on this show should do. That said, it's definitely a skill that you can try to prepare for and still suck at given the different sensitivities between cars, and in this case, things being on the "wrong" side.

I managed to watch this episode without it getting stuck in my head UNTIL I READ YOU ALL TALKING ABOUT IT GETTING STUCK IN YOUR HEAD! Damn you!

All of the Amazing Race songs get stuck in my head. There was one season where one of the challenges had something to do with fish heads. The end credits of that episode had a song "Fish heads fish heads rolly polly fish heads..."

Wife and I thought it was hilarious for some reason and to this day we will sing that at the end of most episodes.

That song was a staple on the Dr Demento radio show in the mid 80's.

So, they brought back the previously 2 eliminated teams and the 2 cops were actually worse that the first time. Really both of the previous losing teams must have no idea how to read a map and drive as they've both been lost in every episode. Funny too because the Keystone Kops even stated how they needed to use their police driving skills…

So can we assume that the father/daughter get eliminated next (again)?

I don't know how the married educators came back and got fifth place but they did. The husband always seems to talk down to the wife. When they went up the mountain for the roadblock the wife said she was afraid of heights and the husband still let her do it.

The cops and father/daughter teams always seem to mess up and get in their own way.

Clearly the two best teams are the best friends and married media personalities. The next two are the girl groups.

I wish the childhood friends were still in the race. They had a good relationship with the best friends team and would have made for a great race against the best friends and married media personalities.

That will be alot worse now, with not being allowed to take public transportation the rest of the race and you have to drive yourselves everywhere. I also feel like with them doing chartered planes they won't be flying to as many countries as in years past with the plane flights being equalizers unless they have multiple charters because if one team misses the flight you know they are out.

I would assume fewer countries, but with chartered flights, I read that they plan to force teams to wait staggered times before they are allowed to leave the airport in order to maintain the time gaps they arrived with. I'm guessing it wont be all of them since at times the flights served as a reset, but that's supposedly how they'll preserve time gaps when they want to

And the previews made it looks like she does a heights challenge again next week.

I'd be so embarrassed if I were one of the Buffalo cops. First team eliminated then first team eliminated after they brought you back for the restart?

Heard an interview from the cop team and they said they also had to do a third task because they were previously eliminated so the married educators would've probably at least finished behind the father daughter pair the way it looked after knowing that fact.

Seems like the belt challenge helped put those teams way way behind. The flags seemed comparatively easy and it was nearer.

It looks like they had to do the speed bump (something to do with cabbage) after they finished the two tasks that everyone had to do which is why the educators went from 7th to 5th so quick. I don't think it was that far seeing how Ryan and Dusty were thinking about switching to the belt challenge before they tried the flag challenge once.

I was curious, so I did a little research as to why those teams didn't return.

• One of the brothers of the Youtube guys died of Covid within two days of when the race was supposed to start
• Terrorist stoppers had work commitments/recent job promotions and they couldn't arrange for the time off necessary to continue
• Reality couple broke up (shocker)
• NC couple was 7 months pregnant

I really wish this would have been an elimination leg.

I feel like restarting with several less teams there will be more non elimination legs than normal to stretch the season longer.

The married educators husband is an ass. The wife is doing all the pit stops. Also, he could of have at least got in shape himself while the show was on a break. I could only imagine how he treats her back home in public.

Geez, the father daughter got still another chance? Seems kinda unfair if another team has an issue for the first time and gets eliminated while the father daughter team finally has a decent day.

I wonder why nobody tried to carry bottles or chestnuts in their backpacks? Maybe not allowed?

Also, the father and daughter have finished last twice now but in non elimination legs. However, I don't think they had a road block in the following leg either time. I thought that was standard?

Lame. The departure thing has always been there. In regards to when they leave a mat, who gets first flights, etc. Feel the last team on a non elimination leg should still have to complete and extra challenge. I mean they were never hard, but still

At least they still keep their money. I hated it in those seasons where teams had to resort to begging locals for cash.

Wonder if they are trying to keep the teams out of populated areas because of CV?

Yeah, have some awareness. You don't gripe to the people you're competing against about how pissed you're going to be if you're eliminated….I mean why do you have more of a right to win than them? Well besides the father/daughter. They suck and keep getting second, third, fourth chances.

I missed it. Who were they complaining to, other than each other?

And pretty crappy of the flight attendants to talk about working together and then run off and abandon your "partners"....

....or stupid of the twins to fall for it.
