It's going to murder the Matrix
One thing you could also do is introduce a young Miles Morales into the fold, although Tom Holland is never going to look old enough to be someone's mentor.wangus12 said:
That's what I'm really hoping is going to happen as well. Have Holland be a few years older, settled into his life as a friendly neighborhood, albeit broke as usual, SM. The Venom symbiote comes calling. You can bring MJ & Ned back while on break from MIT and involve them.
I bought tickets for my family on Christmas day a couple days ago... had a really dificult time finding a theater with enough opens seats that weren't on the front row.veryfuller said:
I think it's got 4th in the bag with these daily numbers so far and has a decent shot at being 2 or 3 depending on how much it can take in over the Christmas weekend.

That's what I don't get about the memory hole. He wanted people to forget he was Spider-Man. Not forget who he was altogether.

Saw it again tonight. Another sold-out showing, packed parking lot, etc.
Took my parents, one of my sisters, her husband, and two of my nephews, both 8 years old. One of them was so scared by the Green Goblin beating the sh*t out of Peter in Happy's building, and then so traumatized by May dying right after, that he started crying and asked to leave. So they (my sister, her husband, and both boys) had to peace out halfway through. My other nephew was pissed, though, because he was so into it and didn't want to leave, sitting on the edge of his seat as long as he could before they finally made him follow them out. (I said we could take him home, but we don't have one of those ridiculous car seat things kids their age still have to sit on for some insane reason.)
Anyway, my parents and I stayed, I teared up all over again in the end, and caught so much more dialogue this go around, since the crowd wasn't cheering. It's still an incredible movie, but man, it really such a better experience when people are clapping, hooping and hollering, and basically losing their minds.

Your one nephew is never going to forgive his brother for forcing him to leave the movie early, lol. Christmastime 30 years from now he'll be telling his kids, nieces, and nephews how their Uncle was a pansy and made him miss the ending to the Spiderman movie the one year the family went to see it all together.
