Went in with huge expectations and was completely blown away by how great the movie was. Going to have to see it again without a doubt because there is so much to comprehend.

The 3 talking before the major battle scene was just absolute nails. Tobey calling Andrew amazing was hilarious.

There was a scene where the three just talked for what seemed like five uninterrupted minutes.

I would have taken an entire movie of just that.

Wasn't too big a fan of this one.

I realize people's mileage varies when it comes to comic book movies - even my interest has waned slightly overall - but I truly do not understand takes like these. Especially ones that use a movie this successful as some kind of barometer for "doom" and "collapse." This is one of the most universally beloved blockbusters in years, from super fans to critics, who don't just love this movie because it features all three Spider-Men, but because it's a legitimately well-written, well-made, and emotional spectacle. This is just so tone deaf…

In my mind, if the same characters can exist in multiple universes - like, multiple Peter Parkers, multiple MJs, etc - who's to say the exact same person can't also exist in multiple universes? Like, it's crazy enough that a radioactive spider bit three different teenagers in the early 21st century that led to three different Spider-Men superheroes who all had an Aunt May, etc. So if those kinds of similarities can exists, why can't, every so often, basically the same person - looks and everything - exist in multiple universes as well? In other words, some "Peter Parkers" may look/act different, while others could look/act the exact same.

That's quintessential for Spider-Man comic stories. He's gone through some dark times and has seen a lot of things. Just stays focused and selfless the whole way through, even if he comes off as a jerk at times. For a seemingly happy-go-lucky character he has some super serious and dark stories.

Oh, in the comics that's definitely true, but the next issue with the rebound was always just a month or two ahead so it never had time to linger. With these films coming much further apart, the downswing for Holland's character just hits a bit harder. Especially when one of the major themes of all the movies for this edition of the character have really stressed the importance of friendships and relationships.

I'm sure they'll probably undo a lot of the forgetting somehow shortly, but it'll still be a while for me, if that makes sense.

I saw it this afternoon, and it had some great moments, but I'm not sure how I feel about that downer of an ending.

Also, how is the spell going to overcome that over the top Peter Parker = Spiderman shrine at the school?

I'm excited for Morbius. That one looks pretty good too.

I believe the spell erased all evidence of Peter Parker's existence completely. Spider-Man still exists and is known, but nobody on this earth knows Peter. That would have to include the shrine, all media, etc.

That leaves Peter with no loose ends for villains to attack as well.

I agree with this interpretation… it also explains why happy didn't know who Peter was but knew who Spider-Man was. And why Peter said the connection to may was Spider-Man.

That was freaking awesome, but I will agree that it was a happier ending. I need that Spiderman 4 to have Ned and MJ relearning who he is. Like Tobey said, they made it work

Make it so Kevin. They certainly left the door open with a piece of the Venom symbiote being left in post credits scene.

Also, the after credits was a straight up full teaser trailer

I loved it, damn. I was so concerned this wasn't going to work because of the multiverse, but it worked on all the levels. My theater for endgame didn't cheer this much. The Garfield and Maguire scene in Ned's house was my favorite. People cheered for Garfield, but borderline wept for Maguire, it felt emotional in the room. It was like I was transported back to college, going to see the first one with my roommates, like a friend you haven't seen in a long time. I was legit happy that Garfield will probably get a lot of the love he missed and should have previously gotten. I loved when he was being called amazing.

Molina and Dafoe, killed it. Jamie Foxx also got to be Jamie Foxx as Electro, he was great.

Really an emotional roller coaster for Holland.

And also, the entire Jon Watts Spider-Man trilogy is so good he's gotta be able to pull off Fantastic 4. I don't care who gets cast, that guy is a perfect comic book movie director.

When Tobey came through the portal, I felt like it really played off Jake Johnson's Peter Parker from Into the Spiderverse. He's been through the ringer and then it was heartwarming to hear him say that him and MJ made it work.

Plus the line from Garfield about going to battle dressed as a Youth Pastor

Maybe I missed an explanation somewhere. No Way Home started mere minutes after Far From Home ended, but yet it was mentioned that Nick Fury has been gone off world for a year. I know there was a fast forward to a new semester of school, but wasn't the Eurotrip a summer trip? Seems like there is a timeline mistake.

The Nick Fury in Far From Home wasn't the real Nick Fury. He was a Skrull in disguise. While the real Nick Fury was, in fact, off world. This was all covered in a FFH post-credit scene or two.

I noticed that Peter's name doesn't come up in that conversation, Happy said it was nice to meet him despite not exchanging names.

One small issue in our theater was there was someone who obviously saw the movie earlier in the day. At every big reveal he yelled or cheered about a half second before anyone else in the audience knew what was happening. Doc Oc, Green Goblin, Matt Murdock, Garfield, Maguire, every single one of them. It was annoying AF.

It says a lot about the writing that some of the most iconic moments are just people talking and not the action. Midnight Boys were talking about this and it says a lot for a Marvel film that the most iconic scenes are not stuff like the Hammer or Portals. The 3 Peters sciencing ****, the villains all in Happy's apartment.

The most electric scenes were straight dialogue

That was a phenomenal movie. So many things that can be said, but here's just a couple :

- Willem Dafoe was amazing - I don't even know what to say, honestly he's just one of the best villains of all time. When he first came through he was good, but when the switch flipped is when he really began to shine.

- Marvel continues to impress, both in writing and execution. They took two franchises that were cheesy, sometimes eye-rolling awkward (looking at you Tobey) but iconic in their own way….. and managed to acknowledge all of that with self-deprecating jokes and fun references, while incorporating them into a modern Marvel blockbuster and have it not feel weird. Seriously, Disney and Marvel are so far ahead of everyone else in the industry when it comes to blockbuster game between the Marvel series and what they're doing with Star Wars.

- The pre-fight scene between the 3 Spidermen of them just bouncing back and forth with dialogue was amazing.

- I thought Garfield did a better job, but I couldn't escape the feeling that I was so happy for Tobey to get this moment. Legit chills in that first scene when they were pulled in. I agree with the other poster that while everyone was excited to see Garfield, it was emotional to see Tobey.

- Zendaya was really really good, especially in her last scene where she didn't know Peter. They've built up years of on-screen chemistry (and off-screen?) and when Peter walked into her coffee shop it was all gone. And then by the end you could see a little spark. I thought that little scene between her and Tom Holland was remarkably well acted.

- Tom Holland is shredded. Thats all.

I think they are now a couple IRL

Crowd was nuts last night…had a group of three teenage boys behind me absolutely yelling at each reveal (one was always yelling LETS GOOOOO!!!). I think the same kid was sobbing at Mae's death scene…I was trying not to yawn and roll my eyes.

Loved the fight on Cap's (The Statue of Liberty's version) shield. So much of the battle on the SofL was a call back to a lot of Rogers's life and self sacrifice. The fight between MCU Peter and Osborn was so much like the fight in Civil War. Choreographed similarly with the obvious twist where MCU Peter picks up the glider (ala Cap holding up his shield over Tony but choosing to destroy the arc reactor and not killing Tony even though the emotions were so high/juxtaposed against John Walker's decision to kill the Flag Smasher with said shield) and Toby saving Osborne bringing MCU Peter back to center and eventually leading to him catching and inoculating Osborn. MCU Peter had to work through his anger and Toby being older and much more experienced stopping something that could have been bad. Again, all on a giant version of Cap's shield. I love how they can tie all these movies together with common themes yet do it in a way that's still really intriguing and fresh. Other similarities are Cap never getting to be with Peggy as he must sacrifice himself by crashing the HYDRA flying wing. Peter had to sacrifice anyone remembering him, including MJ, meaning, for now, they can't be together. Obviously Steve does get to be with Peggy and hopefully Peter does too and doesn't have to wait almost 80 years and needing to travel back in time to do it.

Loved Andrew getting to save MJ this time to at least bring some closure to Gwen's death. Something he and the 616 Peter have had to live with and regret their whole life.

So much more to uncover in this. I need to watch all the Screen Crush, Emergency Awesome, New Rockstar and Heavy Spoiler videos too. I am sure there is just so much in these.
