First time I've stayed up to watch on Thursday. Worth it! I continually marvel at how well this show balances a genuinely emotional plot with spot on humor. I was weeping during the scene that cut from Ted to Rebecca. And when Ted asked Sharon for a hug I lost it. So heartbreaking, but beautifully done.
Danny in the dress shoes was so silly but cracked me up. And Jamie killed me with "they're made for sheep, they're made for muggles, they're made for ****s."
And, umm. Sam is just so damn lovable I can't stand it. I can't believe I'm actually rooting for him and Rebecca to stay together. "I'm only going to get more wonderful." Geez.

Loved this episode, but man all the dad grief was tough to watch. Kind of surprised they haven't connected Ted's feeling of abandonment to him feeling guilty for being so far from his son yet, but maybe that's coming. Ted talking about how he wished he would have told his dad how good he was slayed me.
Rupert is definitely up to something. They lingered too long on his talking to Nate for it to be a coincidence.
Sassy is amazing. So is Sam. In completely different ways.

I kind of new Rebecca was going to sing - not my favorite part. Sweet when she stumbled over never going to say goodbye lyric, but wish they had gone a different way for her speech.

Agree. Wish she'd have struggled but ultimately channeled her mother by just being gracious enough...and letting that build the confidence before doing it with Rupert on the way out.
Still was nice enough though. Episode had a rushed pace to it...was a longer run-time but still felt like they blasted through the scenes.
Also, I might be the only one, but I find Sassy incredibly beautiful. She has a gorgeous smile. And I like watching her talk.
You're not the only one.
I didn't like her at all in the first episode she was in, found her very annoying. But when she was ripping into Rupert, I suddenly noticed how hot she is and now I think I love her.
