The only Pat Green I know is the early 2000s one. Has he made any notable music since then?
No but old people like to go to concerts too.

Haha, nice. I saw him 3 times from 2000-2005 and each was a good show. Chili Fest, Wolf Pen Creek (after 9/11) and Houston Rodeo.

My experience watching pat at multiple shows was there is a slot limit situation with him... too sober like at Houston rodeo and he's boring. Too much and he throws his microphone in the water. In between.. pretty fun

Has anyone seen this guy lately? I am taking my wife to Gruene for her birthday weekend and he is at the hall. It is acoustic so I am worried about a train wreck. Just wondering what I am paying $40 a ticket for.
Saw him last weekend at the Texas Birthday Bash in Navasota. He can still sing and played all his big hits. Not much of an entertainer like Cory Morrow is, but Green still has that voice.

Saw him at cookoff the other week. He was definitely not sober at that one

It was so cold and windy that night it was hard to tell if he was just going through the motions just to get it over with or if something else was going on. He played his hits and mostly sang along, but it wasn't very impressive.

Last time I saw him was at private concert on the westside of Houston in April 2019. He had been mingling with most of the crowd prior to his show. Best I could tell, he was going though cocktails left and right. Very first song you could tell he was toast. Forgetting lyrics, yelling into the mic, off-beat and the band kept having to slow down or speed up because of it. At one point, a lady tried to request a song and he drunkenly replied, "*****, I get paid 30 grand to do this, I pick the songs!" It got pretty awkward for a bit. Naturally, the guy paying for the show was super embarrassed and went on stage to try and salvage the situation. I don't think Pat was going to be invited back.

He apparently played in Steamboat in early January. My friend thought it was a drunken cover band doing Pat Green. Nope. It was drunk Pat Green doing Pat Green.

I saw him last year at Nutty Brown and he put on a good show. Played all the classics and he looked energized.

let that be a lesson to anyone hiring Pat for a private show.

Give him plenty of coke if you want a good performance.

Does anyone remember the year at Chilifest when somebody threw a half full beer at him mid song and he caught it, yelled at the guy, and then threw it back at the guy? Good times. Can't remember what year that was.
