1/3 truly liberal
1/3 truly conservative
1/3 a mix of both
try
1% fringe traditional conservatives/right wing types
8% educated actual americans
20% brainwashed useful idiot republican voters who think they are serious conservatives
20% brainwashed useful idiot republican socialist voters who think they are moderate conservatives
25% full tilt socialist useful idiots who think they are moderate democrats or actually believe that there is anything good in the current dem platform they are brainwashed into supporting
20% useful idiots who vote democrat and dont even know what anything means
5% full tilt communist useful idiots who dont realize they are useful idiots
1% the international financial elites and their minions who know what is going on and are using the useful socialist idiots and all this pc bull**** to destroy america and cement their elite status

and for evidence of these percentages, check the star counts on this thread....

So you do believe in Russian collusion? We've been over this ad nauseam but tell me again how process crimes unrelated to the conspiracy proves the conspiracy?

I'm pretty sure you were all in on the BLM police hunting black men down out of racial hatred conspiracy theory discussed earlier in this thread as well. Not to mention the Georgia GOP colluding with each other to suppress minority voters fantasy.

Without going through 22 pages of discussion, I'll take your word for it. If you were not involved in that discussion, then good for you and I apologize for the mistake. Those are examples of wild conspiracy theories (aka lies) that are mainstream narratives in left wing media that should be immediately dismissed by any educated adult but clearly are not as evidenced by earlier discussion in this thread. They are no better or worse than the falsehoods parroted by those on the right with little grasp of reality.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
this thread is pretty much dead but i just got around to the last 2 episodes and my thoughts:

1. Q is/was definitely Ron, that little slip up at the end was just a dead giveaway. couldn't help but laugh with the showrunner when he let it slip that he basically decided to become a public Qanon after the election, and thereby admitted he was doing it anonymously before. not only was he authoring the Q drops starting in 2018, but he was also VERY active in shaping the discussion on the Q research boards, which suggests he had a vested interest and heavy hand in the theories being spawned. one of the biggest defenses the Q faithful had was that he just threw out bread crumbs and the community "did their own research" to find the hidden truth. if it wasn't already obvious, this is blatantly false. Ron was very involved in deciphering his own Q drops and promoting certain theories.

2. i used to be a heavy lurker on 4chan back in my early college days (2006-2008 timeframe), and knowing what i do from that time this whole thing was obvious to me as a LARP from day 1. but for older people who aren't as internet savvy (and right in the Q wheelhouse) this was not the case. it was so bizarre to see those thought processes spill out of the chans the way they did and get widely adopted by people who had no clue about the culture of the places these theories were coming from.

3. most disturbing of all, and many posters have already touched on this, was the direct line you could see charted from Qanon and 4chan/8chan/8kun outputs to mainstream conservatism. so many people consumed and adopted Qanon and Q-adjacent conspiracy theories into their thinking without even being aware of it. hate to keep harping on the politics board here, but so many of the things you still read and see over there are directly descended from Q even if those posters never participated in the Q thread.

4. also disturbing was the clear recognition many political figures had for how Qanon could be weaponized to wage information warfare and tried to do so. Bannon, Flynn, Stone, even Trump himself giving Q the wink-wink treatment. not to mention the Washington social media strategist who reached out to Ron to help signal boost Q on twitter to help Trump, only for Ron to use that tool to boost himself after the election as an "election security expert".

5. kind of a post-script, but i had no idea posobiec's initial claim to fame was as a pizzagate truther. he claims he was just making fun of it at the time but that seems like rationalization to me. this guy is now a major conservative personality and another example of the conspiratorial wackiness that gave rise to places like OAN where he now works.

you're fighting the good fight to keep emphasizing this point, but once again: believing there's a cabal of satanic pedophile cannibals running things is far more detached from reality than believing russian collusion, BLM, or any other "conspiracy" you care to name coming out of the left

that doesn't excuse the propaganda and misinformation coming from the left, but in the case of Qanon the "both sides" ism just isn't persuasive unless you're part of the movement or heavily influenced by it

That's your opinion from your perspective as a leftist and I completely disagree from my perspective as a conservative. Especially when you consider the damage done to society by the extremely misguided specific beliefs of those on the left, even if you believe the conspiracy theories on the left to be more "subtle". To clarify, I'm not talking about ideological differences, but actual lies being spread. The biggest one being the stoking of racial flames by grossly overstating the amount of white on black racism in American society while encouraging racism that is useful to the progressive agenda. It's destructive and subversive and it's intentionally done for cheap political gain with no consideration for the consequences.

In all fairness you are correct that a lot of low information (mostly boomers) fell for ridiculous theories about eating babies for example, but how many people really took it that far? I'm sure you can find just as many on the left that thought the Trump Golden showers tapes were real, which is almost as ridiculous. Probably only a very small percentage of the conservatives and/or liberals fell for that. I don't recall ever seeing anyone post something on face book about pizza gate or eating babies and I have tons of conservative boomers posting grandma forwards on my face book feed constantly.

On both sides we have to get away from creating narratives that are based entirely on lies. Imo, the truth about the Democrat party is all the political ammunition the right needs to show the American people that the Democrats do not have the best interests of our country in mind. I'm sure you'll disagree and will probably say the same thing about the Republican party. That's fine, I'd just prefer that both sides do so using honesty and facts and not gross misrepresentations of the latter or straight up lies. I'm just really sick of the lies. Lately it seems that every left wing narrative is either a gross misrepresentation of the truth or a straight up lie. Often times, the truth would be an effective political tool to rally their base or argue their case, but they use lies instead, usually based on race. It's a loosely organized effort to subtly vilify all American conservatives as low key or overt white supremacists and fear monger the minority vote. It's disgusting, reckless, ignores the real issues, and it's building up a lot of anger on the right towards the left and vice versa.

To keep this relevant, when can we expect the HBO documentary on the BLM founders and their newfound mansions?

Because, as you can probably agree, that doesn't really hit their target market. They're not a news organization beholden to balanced reporting (or a semblance of balanced reporting, if you wish). Why don't Fox or OAN or one of Lindell's new channels do a documentary as you're suggesting?

By the way, didn't mention it in my last post, but one other thing pointing to Ron.
Remember how he "told" the producer that it was Bannon and he'd known it all along?
Then why in the world would he ask him at the end if he figured out who Q was?

Ron knows it's the last interview and desperately wanted credit but couldn't say it outright, so he "slipped" twice between that and admitting he had been on the boards for years. It's classic self sabotaging behavior because deep down he couldn't stand not getting the overt adulation for what he had done.

I'm sure a conservative group will, but that's not the point. The only people that pay attention to conservatives networks are people interested in conservatives politics. HBO like a Netflix is not purported to be a political organization and therefore reaches a much wider audience. When your mainstream networks that are viewed by the entire political spectrum only do documentaries that slant one direction, then that is problematic. Low information voters are only getting one side of the story and it ends up shifting the Overton window of American politics over time. It's a big assumption and a wrong one IMO that the American modern progressive movement is progressing the country in a healthy direction. It also removes the last line of defense of political oversight that might inform the masses of what's really going on. Right now we just have the left and right propaganda networks providing oversight over the opposition party but the only people paying attention would never vote for the other party anyway so there is no mechanism to hold them accountable. HBO certainly has the right to be one sided, but doing so under the guise of objectivity is problematic, it shows a complete lack of journalistic integrity, and is doing a disservice to the viewer. I'll keep them because I enjoy their drama series, but their documentary lineup is becoming nothing more than leftist propaganda and that's a shame because they're really good at making them.

Are you suggesting HBOs target market is only left leaning Americans? Conservatives for the most part are not the nutty tin foils hats you imagine sitting in a basement listening to terrestrial radio all day. I can assure you there is a large part of HBOs target market that is right leaning and/or moderate. HBO is not CNN, MSNBC, or even Vice. Regardless they'd be doing a better job for the clients by including reporting on the corruption and malfeasance of left leaning organizations as well as right. Americans should be warned when they are being misled by opportunistic grifters like the BLM leaders, especially when the consequences are so grave.

I think you can look at HBO's original programming and figure out who THEY think their predominate audience is. Is it 51-49 left leaning? More? Less? I don't know. But there's a reason Bill Maher has a show on HBO.

I just don't think it's HBO's job to report on all sides of a story. Their job is to provide programming that lets them sell as many subscriptions as possible. As soon as they think a story on BLM is profitable, I suspect we'll see that documentary.

i loved the bannon red herring. you can tell Ron is highly intelligent to have created the bread crumb trail leading to bannon and even managed to throw off the director for a time, but it didn't take him long to realize it was misdirection.

you're right, Ron was loving the attention and influence Q was getting but desperately trying to keep it a secret at the same time, and it just resulted in a bunch of self contradictions he couldn't keep track of after a time.

reminds me of Jim saying over and over he wasn't that interested in politics, but the last time we see him he's participating in the stop the steal rally at the capitol on Jan 6

"Nextdoor the neighborhood conservative white people are conspiring on how they can drive these black people out of their neighborhood before they drive down their property values and steal their stuff. They probably hope some police officers will come by and shoot them just for being black.

The town mayor is a shadowy figure that is an agent of North Korea and got elected by their help, but is now beholden to their interests. He's going to declare a fascists dictatorship and rule the town with an authoritarian fashion that hasn't been seen since World War Two. Not only will he target people of color because reasons, but he's going to round up the trans people and put them all in camps." /liberals

It's easy to make fun of the extremists on both sides. Do we need to mention the masses of Antifa morons that think they're somehow fighting fascism by using fascist tactics? Do you have anything useful to add to the conversation?

Are you suggesting that the founders of BLM being admitted "trained Marxists" while latter becoming wealthy off of their movement is a conspiracy theory?

Profit is not the only motivation, they have an agenda. It's not necessarily entirely intentional but largely a product of the political leanings of those who own and work for HBO. The problem is when you target a wide audience with only slanted material then you're propagandizing your audience. I'm all for opinion pieces in any direction, but the saturation of slanted propaganda from sources that are believed to be objective by the casual observer is pushing the average person's ideology in a direction not based on merit but highly biased information.

HBO produces a documentary to make the most extreme conservatives look ridiculous but no complementary documentary showing the extremist nut jobs in charge of the leftist asylum. Joe Bob HBO viewer sees the left as somehow more reasonable when they are anything but.

To be fair, the documentarian had a wealth of material to work with to make people look ridiculous.

Again, I don't think it's HBO's job, and I really don't know why anybody thinks it is. In your words, let some network or other media channel with a conservative political agenda or right leaning do a BLM documentary.

There's not any mainstream streaming services other than news organizations (ie. Fox News and a handful of much smaller organizations) that are right leaning. They're all lefties and they're brainwashing low information voters. HBO, Netflix, Prime, Showtime, Cinemax, ESPN, Hulu, Disney, Facebook, Google, Twitter, Spotify. All push a leftist agenda and that will and should continue to be condemned by those of us that realize it's brainwashing low information voters.

For example when I open my Spotify app, I get bombarded by suggestions to listen to podcasts about voter suppression. They are pushing a narrative to their listeners that the Georgia election laws were designed to suppress legitimate voters particularly minorities. It's a lie and they know it but they will continue to try to brainwash their listeners into believing it. They do not highlight any podcasts about voter fraud which is the real issue that the Georgia laws are designed to combat. Why? Why not offer up both and let listeners decide the truth.

I know these companies have the right to do so, but it is harmful and I will continue to call them out on it. People need to know that they're only getting one side of the story.

There's also a wealth of material to make every leftist group look ridiculous, this was not unique to the Q .

I'd also add that leftist organizations only doing documentaries on conservatives and Republicans isn't really helpful to anyone. The people that are most important to reach about the extreme corruption and incompetence in the Democrat party are the people that would vote for them (ie. Bill Maher's audience). Same can be said with roles reversed.
