The claim that the vast majority of the media is left wing propaganda is not born out of propaganda but personal observation over the two decades that I've been following politics. Anyone with a triple digit IQ can see that a media machine that sides with Democrats 95%+ of the time is not objective by any measure. If you think the journalism industry is even close to moderate then I have a bridge to sell you, because that's just not even close to reality. Do you have a legitimate argument showing that journalism and entertainment is moderate, balanced, or anything but far left on average? Just saying that my opinion on the state of journalism in America is born out of propaganda is a very poorly formed argument and has no basis in reality. Furthermore it's untruthful and you know it.

I've tried using this exact rationale with them but they won't have it. Once you factor in "Hollywood" and the overwhelming abundance of evil, socialist messaging peddled by pedophiles on every channel and streaming service, all trying to sway children to change genders after failing to turning them gay... the left FAR outweighs the right when it comes to political and cultural messaging. Wow, I didn't think anyone would dare go down this road. Nowhere did I say the entire media. The vast majority, absolutely and anyone who argues otherwise is living in an alternate reality. Fox and Rush may have (had) good ratings but combined only represent a small fraction of American media. Journalism, entertainment, sports (more coverage related than management and players), and academics are heavily biased in favor of left wing politics. I'm not sure why anyone would even try to argue that. I believe it's primarily due to the type of people that pursue those professions. They are typically right brained and there's nothing wrong with that. It has organically created an imbalance in media coverage of political and social media that is problematic though. Social media/big tech companies I believe lean the way they do because they typically employ younger people and are concentrated in very blue areas.

When, in reality, he quite cleverly and hilariously mocked the way in which you paint with the broadest, most comical of brushes an entire half of the country with sweeping generalizations that, themselves, are born out of "fabricated propaganda." He's pointing out the fact that you're taking the worst of the far, extreme left and ascribing it to the vast majority.

Especially when someone like me, who lives in one of the most liberal cities in the world (Los Angeles, in this case) - and works among the "Hollywood elites" - doesn't know a single liberal who wants socialism, open borders, to take your guns away, to kill babies, etc, or fits the fever-dream caricature 16chan often propagates. Rather, most of them simply want a few tweaks - some bigger than others, relatively speaking - to the current system (i.e. to see things like Medicare expanded, to make it just *slightly* harder to buy a gun, etc).

Don't Fox News and conservative talk radio types ala Rush and Hannity absolutely dominate the ratings? Or is that "different"? You can say "yeah, well that's just a response to the others"...but when those dominate to the tune of being higher than the next three shows combined, your "the entire media is left" response doesn't hold weight.

Wow, I didn't think anyone would dare go down this road. Nowhere did I say the entire media. The vast majority, absolutely and anyone who argues otherwise is living in an alternate reality. Fox and Rush may have (had) good ratings but combined only represent a small fraction of American media. Journalism, entertainment, sports (more coverage related than management and players), and academics are heavily biased in favor of left wing politics. I'm not sure why anyone would even try to argue that. I believe it's primarily due to the type of people that pursue those professions. They are typically right brained and there's nothing wrong with that. It has organically created an imbalance in media coverage of political and social media that is problematic though. Social media/big tech companies I believe lean the way they do because they typically employ younger people and are concentrated in very blue areas.

In no fan of left wing politics, but I've never wished anyone dead and I'm not one arguing for civil war. I think there's a lot wrong with voting for or defending Democrats, my post above is stating that there's nothing wrong with being right brained. I'm further left on many issues than you might imagine, but the current trajectory of the Democrat party and their ability to act with near impunity is not good for this country at all imo.
