I would look at the golf Air Pegasus or AM90. Not goretex but water resistant and good traction.

AJ1s are probably "cooler" but I think AM90s make more sense here.

Or you can go OG and just get some classic Copas

I golf in the AJ1 lows and they are pretty good about keeping my feet dry. It kind of depends on what you want to do in them. If it's just for the purpose of being comfortable in wet conditions but you don't really need traction (i.e., disc golf or something) and want to be comfortable walking a long way with a little style, NB made some gore-tex 996s and 2002s you could probably snag for fairly cheap on secondary. If it's a sport where you need more traction with some waterproofing, hard to beat the nike golf line.

Ah, re-read your post and see it's about coaching. I have coached baseball and soccer in some AM90 beaters the last several seasons.

Adidas makes a water repellant Samba.

I bought some Gore-Tex Brooks a couple months ago that have been super nice. Not really sure that would be a "sneaker" though.

Ah, interesting, thanks! I looked through the sambas earlier, but didn't catch that a few of them are water-repellant. I wonder how good that works?

I'm guessing they just didn't pay for the Gore-Tex name on them. If you wanted to go a step further, I use this stuff on all my shoes, and the water just rolls right off my shoes. Like a fresh coat of wax on a car. It's really good.

AM90s for sure. Love 1s but I think the 90s are a better choice for that case. If you don't want to go gore-tex, you can do crepe like mentioned above. Or just scrub them down and throw them in the wash when they get really dirty

I do a lot of walking and standing on my feet at work. I did a quick search for, good basketball shoes for planter fasciitis and the AG4 shoe pops up. Thoughts? Also if you're in the know, how do these run with sizing? I typically wear a Nike size 9 or an Adidas 8.5

If I go with this shoe I have this picked out. They're $119

Aren't the Jordan Golf shoes waterproof? You can get lows and highs in 1s that look nice.

Get Jordan golf shoes, that's what I wear and they are waterproof and generally more stylish.

Couldn't tell you, they are just simple white, black and red. First pair of Jordans I owned in over 15 years I bought shortly after joining this thread.

It's official. Our new MS/JRHS/HS complex currently being built will be the Tomas Gators (LCISD). Green and black. I had just gotten comfortable with purple and black (Fulshear).

Copped some green dunks (on sale no less) to mark the occasion.
