My son wanted the Across the Spider Verse Jordan 1's for his new school shoes, but his school has a strict dress code on shoe colors. His next choice was the Military Blue Jordan 4's. Making his old man proud.

He might like those white thunder, but he'll be in school before they release.

Yeah I go a full size up on my 1 highs, 3s, and 4s.
I'm a 12.5, often go for 13s because of the limits. 12.5s in the 1s and 3s are snug but fine, 12.5s in the 4s I can't wear unless I break them in a lot.

Weartesters said the materials on that pair are very nice. I passed because I'm not a fan of what they did with the cage on these (and the craft 4s), and they're pretty similar to the Fear 4s which I want later this year

Disagree…I dig them but those are more ou colored…Bordeaux is the maroon Nike color.

I'm not sure when it comes to things like a 4 (never been blessed to see them in person). Usually, SBs have a few features designed primarily for skating:

(1) Fatter tongue
(2) Tongue straps (in case you pop the laces)
(3) Double stitched toe boxes (so you don't rip the toes open easily)
(4) Impact foam soles (for when you jump off)
(5) No air units (for board feel)

Here's a weartesters video about the pine green SB4s. TL;DW, no additional padding on that one, likely no change in midsole. Main differences are softer rubber on the wings and heel tab and gum rubber on parts of the outsole. I don't have this pair, but I have heard that they are more roomy in the toe area

Mine came Sunday and wore them to work Monday. Definitely like them more in person and the leather is quality! Didn't scratch my 4 itch so thinking about the oxidized green or wait for the navy sb 4 next February.

Also saw a deep navy 13 with gum sole dropping on the 10th. Intriguing.
