It's a sloppy fit. Get those pants hemmed to the proper length. If you're going to pay hundreds of dollars (the green shoes he got goes for $700+ on the website) for nice shoes, at least put in the effort to show them off properly.

I paid $419 I think. If you want the shell Cordovan Harlestones, they are indeed over $700.

I normally make more effort than that too. I wanted to show the shoes more than how to wear them.

How should pants be hemmed? A photo would be really helpful.

I'm excited to get the Crown Northampton Overstones when they show up. Thinking they could be my new favorite shoes.

There's a photo for whoever asked already existed on the thread. Full break and it looks sharp. Sneakers on point and that's what you see rather than fabric bunched up above and around them on the sides of the shoe. Notice the back of the pants aren't all frayed and dirt stained from being dragged on the floor all the time. This is a very good example of how to wear nice shoes.

Nike is going after YouTuber Cedaz (Eben Fox) for orchestrating the sale of reps through his discord, website, and sub-reddit as well as illegal stuff he filmed for his YouTube channel. A pretty entertaining trademark infringement complaint. Some highlights below (more @SneakerLegal):

I have trouble getting the right length on pants. I'm about 5'9" so I normally wear a 30 or 32 inch inseam. Usually the 30 is too short and the 32 is a little too long depending on the shoes or boots I wear. They don't make a 31 in most pants or that would be about perfect.

Everybody is made different etc etc, but if you are 5'9", you are probably never a 32" inseam and never have been. I'm 6'3" and am either at 32 or 33 and I buy everything at a full break on low tops. The cords pic… if those are 32's, you are cuffing what appears to be well over an inch on your left leg and it still appears the back of those cords is hanging well below the top of your shoe standing up straight. This means those are 2 inches too long.

No… this isn't a sartorial thread but I think this is a fair topic. I know somebody with a couple of Crown Northampton dress sneakers, wears them most days and they stand out for dress sneakers and look sharp… so much so that I've asked about them and know that they were made by Crown Northampton. But the thing with dress sneakers is if you don't have the right break and fit on your pants and don't keep them clean, then they just look like leather Skechers which isn't your objective if you are buying $400 sneakers.
