It's kind of hard to describe. They are definitely squishy, but I'd call it more bouncy than soft. It's similar to the feel of boost material than what you get out of a really soft pair of cloudforms. They are way better than the nike azuna slides i wrote up a while back. The bounce is nice, though. I think I was expecting something more similar to what you get out of a pair of crocs, but this is very different. And if you have worn adilette slides that are that hard plastic, this is nothing at all like that.

They are super chunky, and pretty tall. I'd guess there is more than an inch of the material below your foot. What I wasn't expecting is how it kind of encases your foot. There's a lot of material on the sides as well, which is nice because with some slides I feel like I'm stepping of the back or the side with my heel a little bit.

The fit is kind of weird. I normally wear a 12, but I ordered a 13 in these (they don't do half sizes). I'm glad I did, because I don't think I could have gotten my foot into a 12. The material is kind of "sticky" for lack of a better term. Once you wedge your foot in there, it's not going anywhere. It's not uncomfortably tight or anything, though. The oddest part of the fit to me is in the arch. Your foot is locked in place, and there's definitely arch support.

I'm not sure if this is making any sense. You know how you have an old pair of slides, and you just kind of toss them on loosely and run your errands or walk around or whatever? These feel more like they are molded on to my foot. The material is in contact with your foot all the way around, and it's not sliding around.

They are definitely not worth what they are going for on secondary, but I think its pretty nice if you can get it at retail.

That blue, which is close enough to the blue the oilers used, is the best color in sports. Except when any team from Tennessee wears it. I guess I actually only like it on throwback looking uniforms. Those old Phillies uniforms are so awesome. Same with old oilers jerseys.

Looks like these might release in the US after all. I hope that Nike makes their cultural shoes, particularly from Japan and Korea, more readily available to the US. They make some great stuff.
