Mostly true. I was at The Sphere to see Dead & Co., waiting in line for the bathroom during the set break, and a dead head asked me if my Chunky Dunkys were real. We were both three sheets and I said "hell no." That was the only time anyone has asked.

I need these. They also dropped a new black on black kirkland signature sweatshirt. I already have the sweat suit combo from a few years ago and just missed out on the slides last year.

Just in time for the State Fair, Hibbitt Sports is releasing a State Fair of Texas X Adidas Superstar II. They are themed to evoke the styling of the State Fair and have both a corn dog and Ferris wheel on the insides of the shoe. Limited to 1320 pairs in both kids and adult. Even though they are an eye blistering shade of blue, it might be worth it just because of the corn dog. Release date is this Saturday online and in store

I was SO close to getting the state fair adidas today. I went to a local Hibbett and they said they would sell them to me but couldn't find the 13s I needed. I went to a second location and they had the 13s but said I had to wait until tomorrow

I looked again today and its still up in the air. The TS website sucks. I have been selected at least 3 times and every time I go in to get my pair they are sold out. Wish they would just let you enter for your size and have it be guaranteed vs. getting selected and it still being a crapshoot

I went a bought a pair of the Adidas Superstar II "Dallas". Turns out Hibbett didn't officially get permission from the State Fair so they are very quick to mention that they have no affiliation with them. There's even a flyer inside the box stating as much. Definitely worth the $100 just for the corn dog on the insole.
